So I'm going to Puerto Rico this Summer and was wondering if anyone else has been. Ive been once but only for 4 days 5 nights so didnt get to see alot. This summer I will be there for 7 days, 8 nights. Was wondering if anyone knows of some fun places, activities, good places to eat, etc. THings I DID do last time: -Beach -Bacardi Factory -Old San Juan -El Yunque Rainforest -Bio-Illuminecciant Kayak tour -Stayed in Fajardo Note: No need to state the obvious (i.e. Hookers, robbing a bank, cocaine, streaking, whaling, etc.)
If you are a golfer, then they have a nice golf course there. Can't remember the name on top of my head though....
skip the bacardi factory and do an ecoquest tour. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attracti...iews-Ecoquest_Tours-San_Juan_Puerto_Rico.html i've been once also. i didn't do the ecoquest tour but after reading those reviews it'll be the first thing i do when i go back.
I love golf...I went golfing last time I went. It was a resort called El Conquistador, it was really nice. Plan on golfing a couple of time this trip. Will be staying in Palmas del Mar
Seems intersting.....I also saw this spelunking (cave diving) tour....you get to rappel down into this cave and go exploring (with a guide of course) for like 5 or 6 hours....looks great. Will post link when I can
Never been to Puerto Rico but wikitravel is always a good start for information. http://wikitravel.org/en/Puerto_Rico
I just moved back to San Francisco from San Juan last month! I lived on Isla Verde... the best beach in San Juan is there. Where are you staying?
Rented a house in Palmas del Mar. It's on the southeast side of the island. On a side note, I love San Francisco.....I lived about 2 hours south of there in Monterey for 2 and a half years.
It's pretty much the same temp all year long....the rain is spontaneous all year long. I said that to say this....Any time of the year but during the summer the airfare and accomodations are alot cheaper because everybody goes in the winter to get away from the cold
