If they were able to do that, they would have their sights set higher believe you me. Also, hard to photoshop somebody who already has a body like that. You take her face off of it I guarantee you it won't look as good.

Watch "Blake Bortles' Game Winning Drive Vs. Louisville" on YouTube
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsHSYdNv2C4&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Blake beat an excellent coached team by Charlie Strong who has moved on to a big time coaching job at Texas. And he also beat O'Brien who now has an NFL head coaching job... And Blake won both of those games on the road.

We also now have a guy on the coaching staff who worked with Blake. I wouldn't be surprised IF the Texans draft Blake if they decide to go QB.

Blake is a big dude, certainly passes the eye test

However Louisville had that in the bag but bad penalties killed them on that final UCF drive

They won't draft Bortles. They will draft top rated QB and it won't be Bortles. Who cares if someone worked with him and he beat penn state. If he's not rank top QB by draft texans won't draft him. He's overhyped

Louisville only had one penalty on that drive and that was a defensive offside penalty (something that could probably be credited to Blake).

What is crazy to me is that two months prior to all the Blake hype. He was regarded as a 4-5th round prospect. I am always weary of guys that jump up the board late like that.

I honestly will support anything BOB does. He turned that Oakland QB from walk on to NFL player. I trust his judgment, but I still firmly believe that if Bridgewater is a savant like its being reported, than he will be the pick. We will see, but I wont lie that Bortles size is a plus compared to TB and JFF. I just don't think he is a better QB right now.

I thought the same thing about Blake. Thought he was just moving up the rankings because of the ESPN hype of his bowl game. But after reading up on the kid and going back and watching some of his games and looking at the other QBs in this draft I can see why he's moving up. And I wouldn't be shocked if that kid goes out there and runs a 4'5-4'6 40 at the combine either.

But what you said about O'Brien is the exact reason why I'm not worried about drafting a QB early.

Just some scuttlebutt, but if (when?) the Houston Texans release Matt Schaub, the Raiders could be among the teams interested in the quarterback. Schematically, it isn’t a great fit, and Schaub is more a “systems” guy, but it’s said he has some fans in the organization and would be a stabilizing factor. . . . Speaking of the Texans, some solid team sources insist new coach Bill O’Brien isn’t as overboard on Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles as has been suggested in some quarters. “He’s keeping an open mind,” one source said. “The page is blank right now. People keep trying to connect the dots to the fact (Bortles) beat Penn State last year, but I wouldn’t make too much of that.”

Bortles is a product of hype. I see a Jake Locker type nfl career.

Locker will finish his career a full tier better than Bortles. Bortles isn't even a starting QB in this league and his draft stock will start to drop in 3... 2...

Bortles won games in college, Locker didnt win anything in college. You guys need to do some research on what yall are talking about. Gabbert was a spread qb and can run, so please know what you're talking about...Gabbert is just scared in the pocket, thats why he struggles. Bortles beat Penn state in Pennsylvania at night, lost by 3 pts to SC, beat Louisville on the road at night, went undefeated in conference play then blew out Baylor. He did it playing with borderline NFL talent. UCF's rb's will make the league, maybe a wr (Worton). Given all this I still had him pegged as a mid first rounder only because the elite talent in this draft at other positions. I think the Texans will hope Cleveland or Oakland falls in love with Manziel so they can trade down...and try to get two top five guys. Texans need a qb and a defender or right tackle.

So Bortles is not comparable to Jake Locker because Bortles has talent around him and does not play in the PAC 10(12)?

    Man, I'm a dolt!

    FWIW:

Problem: Finding a quarterback for the future.

Solution: While the Texans have only $6,100,000 in cap space, cutting Matt Schaub is no done deal: they will wait until they feel 100% confident in one of the quarterbacks available with the first overall pick. According to trusted sources, the Texans are initially leaning towards taking either Blake Bortles or Johnny Manziel with the top pick. Although Manziel would obviously be the choice of owner Bob McNair, O'Brien is not sold that Manziel possesses the work ethic and intangibles necessary to be the face of a franchise.

As mentioned above, it has been suggested that the Texans may take a pass rusher with the first selection and try to select their quarterback in the second or third rounds. While this is definitely a possibility, it makes more sense to take a quarterback first overall if they believe one has frontline starter traits/tools, as waiting is a huge risk. Selecting Bortles with the first pick makes the most sense if they are not completely comfortable with Manziel's maturity and mental makeup.

If the Texans are high on Bortles, look for them to trade down with a team that has Manziel fever or prefers Teddy Bridgewater or Clowney. An extra early-round pick or two could help O'Brien put his stamp on the team without breaking a very tight budget.

agreed. although I still prefer Clowney + a hard working QB in the 2nd/3rd that BO'B can mold.
