    Heard about this and I don't know if the Rockets have announced it yet or not, but for the February 12th game against the Wizards, the Rockets are going to run an interesting promotion surrounding Chandler Parsons' 10 three-point night.

    After the game, Parsons will come out to speak to the fans for a chat/Q&A, then fans will get to go on the court to shoot a three-pointer from the same spot where Chandler hit his 10th, which is right in front of the "A" in "TOYOTA" (2:06 mark of the video).

    They're going to give a poster to everyone that commemorates his ten three-night, but if you make the three-point shot, you’ll get a copy signed by Parsons.

    Some people are posting pics/video on twitter and instagram that make it look as though this is happening now. Any idea what's going on now? Looks like people were shooting 3s with him and he's now midcourt doing Q&A.

    Is this a thinly veiled attempt to find more 3-point shooters for the Rockets? Maybe a fan gets a 10 day contract out of this? If only...

    Will they also run a contest where a fan is given the ball on a last possession situation to create off a pick and roll?

    Fans who manage to hurriedly pass the ball to Pat Beverley for a wild contested jumper gets autographed posters from Chandler.

    Yeah, but that was a pretty amazing accomplishment -- 10 threes in a half... and not only that, but he started out 10-10. Pretty crazy.

    I think that was some other event... not sure.

    I don't know since I only heard about this a few days ago, but I'll ask. I assume any fan who has a ticket to the game that sticks around for the chat will be able to, but not 100% on that.

    I just asked on this and that is not the case. You will have to buy a ticket through the promo they are going to do and it comes with a voucher to go down and shoot the shot. Here is a link for that:

    When you use that promo code it gives you a choice of regular or premium. I'm guessing both seats get you the voucher to get on the court?
