Somewhere in Jersey... right now is a 45-55 year old unemployed fat white guy with a TransAm, sleevless t-shirt and cut off shorts "grillin'" and listening to "da Boss".

Somewhere outside of Boulder a skinny dude with a grey pony tail and a dog named Joshua is misting his plants and listening to a vinyl copy of Late For The Sky.

And there are 2 people posting on a message board about something that they really don't have any true interest in wishing they could get those minutes of their life back so they could spend them on something infinitely more important than talking about musical artists who haven't been relevant since 1985 and whose only significance may be that they exist so that individuals who have nothing better to do can spend their time making snide comments about other individuals who may still be fans of these artists listening to their vinyl record such as the above-referenced skinny dude with a grey pony tail and a dog named Joshua misting his plants and listening to a vinyl copy of Late For The Sky and reminiscing about the good old days when music actually meant something and wasn't just used to sell commercials during 30-second slots within the most-watched sporting event of the year. :)

Somewhere in Montana a poodle dog is picking fleas off of a pygmy pony with some zircon encrusted tweezers while listening to Frank Zappa's Apostrophe.

I went to the Jackson Browne solo show at Verizon. He had 26 acoustic guitars on stage.
He would just sort of amble over to the rack and pick one up. He played whatever song was associated with that particular guitar.

It was a lovely evening, Joshua and I enjoyed it.

Somewhere in the back of the SoCal dispensary, a cheshire cat in a top hat is spinning Damn The Torpedoes with his morning dab, thinking to himself, "Even the loser, gets lucky sometime".

Somewhere outside a suburban Detroit town a man anxiously stubbs an unfiltered Marlboro into a putrid overflowing ashtray. Larry's laid off now. The years in the plant had made him old before his time, but it always seemed to him that he was timeless for the hours he was behind the wheel of his muscle car blasting Segar from the ancient 8-track.

And tonight, when the Amtrak 8:15 reaches the Logan Street crossing, he and the Roadrunner, they'll be going to Katmandu.

Petty put on the worse concert I've ever seen. It was all about screw the man I'll play what I want to play. This song was rejected from my 4th album, you never heard of it, but I'm going to play it any way. He played 4 hits and the rest was junk. Ranked higher than Jackson Brown because I can honestly not think of one of their songs off the top of my head.

Somewhere in the flat lands that the sophisticated people only fly over, a registered pharmacist sits sipping coffee reading the account of the High School team's latest victory in the local rag. In the background Mellencamp plays on an old AM radio while he thinks to himself, "This is probably where they'll bury me".

Bruce Springsteen is the most underrated guitarist. Most people comment about his lyrics, but his Guitar skills are second to none.

My bad- I should have said it was a rhetorical question. Most would probably say, "Jeff Lynne? Who's that?" He was key in several of those artists' resurgence through producing/co-writing stuff on George Harrison's Cloud Nine, Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever, Orbison, "Anything You Want," etc. Plus, there was that ELO band:

and a way cool tribute to flash mobs worldwide, this could be my favorite video ever:
