I wonder how many people have turned off this game by now. I feel bad for the companies that spent money to air their commercials in the 4th quarter. I'm assuming 4th Q commercials are the most expensive.

So for the second year in a row a team with an average at best QB is going to win the SB. I really never want to hear the BS line about how you need an elite QB to win ever again.

Oh, you got a pretty good offense?

We got a good one ourselves.

    :p

    Can't believe I'm even about to ask: Brock Osweiler tonight? {Probably not.}

Flacco and Wilson are better than AVERAGE.

The Broncos should stop sucking if they don't want to get blown out like this. Maybe if they'd have invested in their defense more rather than hoping the offense would do it all for them then they'd be doing better.

Russell Wilson isn't "average at best." He's not elite but he also isn't Trent Dilfer. Lets be fair here. Matt Schaub is average, Russell Wilson is well above average. He just isn't Peyton Manning.

Flacco at his best is slightly above average, overall he's just average, Wilson is a game manager with wheels.

    Why not?

I NEVER understand this in a professional sporting environment (I can understand the mentality in a school environment where they're kids and not professionals)

This is what they do for a living.
    They're all grown men.

    One team showed up.
    One team didn't.

Who in their right mind should think 'oh we are by far the best team today. But because the other team didn't show up i'll tell me team to not try for the rest of the game'

    That is stupid.

They have a great defense, the Broncos...but it is more like a finesse defense if that makes sense.

Russell Wilson isn't even as good as Schaub was, not even close. He's a guy that will protect the ball and be good enough if he doesn't have to pass the ball more than 25 times a game and the defense is dominant. He's just a game manager with running ability.

Thats all good untill your qb gets his head taken off or you have a serious injury to another key player when you had the game well in hand. How do you explain that?

MUCH easier to explain than why you shut things down and the other team came back and won the SB.

That's why you put in the backups. I agree with that sentiment either way though, it is a risk you take with your investments that all companies do. Sometimes it is all OK and other times you suffer big time.
