Apologies if I'm misreading your inflection; but that reasoning would imply that child molestation charges don't get prosecuted, without adult third-party testimony or convincing evidence. Ten-plus kids in that household, several of them adopted, unfortunately I don't think they'd be that hard to manipulate in a custody case.

That being said, if it were me, I'd definitely steer clear of having a relationship with someone who has that kind of connection to me. That's his choice, and he did nothing illegal, but it'd just be best to stay away from stuff like that.

The other alleged incident with his stepdaughter is another matter entirely. Hopefully, he'll come out and say something about this or somehow, through a statute of zero limitations in a matter like this, it will be brought up again. Can't understand for the life of me why this wasn't brought to trial at the time. She wanted to spare the daughter the agony of a trial??? Well, apparently since she's been self-destructive for the past 15+ years over this, maybe that was a bad idea.

She was adopted at 8 years old by Mia and Andre Previn. They divorced in 1979 when she was 9. Woody and Mia moved in together in 1980 when Soon-Yi was 10. Woody and Mia separated in 1992 when she found nude pictures of Soon-Yi and dumped him.

From 10 to whenever he started banging her, he was her father.

Shame on me for posting facts about Woody Allen LOL. The FBI doesn't even know how many children are sexually assaulted. They guess between 1-10% are reported. That is one order of magnitude. It's like telling a restaurant to make a reservation for 6 people but 60 might show up. The reason is kids are brainwashed and scared to report, and when they do get the courage they are torn apart and ridiculed. Get a clue, this is a massive black eye on our society. There are cases of adoptions where the parents doesn't even bother setting up a bedroom for the child. They sleep with the (single) parent from the first night. Starve them to prevent puberty.

3. Pedophilia is defined by the APA as having an attraction to kids that are "generally" 11 years of age or younger. Given that, as much as that girl Dylan's letter sounded authentic, he was still never brought up on charges and there's a reasonable doubt considering the many contradictory aspects of the case/situation, to call him an obvious pedophile is incorrect- or at the very least, going by "guilty until proven innocent."

Again, there's enough there for the whole thing to be extremely strange- and I'm not saying he didn't do it- I'm saying I don't know and neither do you. And I would never think of having a relationship with someone like a Soon Yi even if she didn't live with me and she was older when they started up.
