LOL, I'm not even going to argue with you about this. I will suggest that you never bring this opinion up in public unless you want to be laughed at.

EVERYBODY knows I'm not scared to be laughed at... Especially by someone like you who tried to make a case about Aaron Donald's draft stock because of short arms which is freaking stupid.

Fair enough, it's good that you don't mind it because I'd imagine it happens pretty often.

Anyone who worries about getting laughed at on an anonymous blog because of their opinions is weak minded and weak hearted... And for someone to use that because they are too incompetent to debate about a topic is weak minded and weak hearted as well... Congratulations Bobby :)

I think I speak for everybody, but can yall both just stop posting on this thread (Remii and Bobbythegreat). Fight it out in messages or something, some of us actually want updates on Clowney without digging through yalls trash for 9001 pages.

I nominate this thread for "most hijacked of all time"

Can someone give me some real info on whether or not we take the Clown?

For "real info" on if the Texans are going to take Clowney or not, you'll have to wait about 3 weeks minimum until the combine for the next nugget of anything serious. Until then I'll be nothing but opinion and banter.

This Seattle ass raping of Denver has to be good for the pro Clowney crowd.

Yep...once again...good pass rush and good secondary proving that it can take you all the way...

Giants...Ravens...and Seahawks looking to prove that it is more than a coincidence, it is a trend.

Err yeah, that goes without saying. But this is about whether the team should draft Clowney, not about the 5th round.

No joke. Looking at how many high picks Seattle has spent on defense you would wonder how they are any good at all, and it also shows you how poor the Texans have been in the later rounds of the draft.

    Seattle's Defensive starters:
    DE Red Bryant 4th round
    DT Tony McDaniel undrafted
    DT Brandon Mebane 3rd round
    DE Chris Clemons undrafted
    LB Bruce Irvin 1st round
    LB Bobby Wagner 2nd round
    LB Malcolm Smith 7th round
    CB Richard Sherman 5th round
    CB Byron Maxwell 6th round
    FS Earl Thomas 1st round
    SS Kam Chancellor 5th round

EOTW and RS hit the nail on the head.

Drafting well beyond the first round but even more importantly, they're developing those 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round picks.

Only two first round picks starting--incredible.

Then they go "bargain" free agent shopping, adding depth(or filling in holes) on the cheap. (Michael Bennett/Cliff Avril on the DL)

That goes without saying though, everyone should know that you in general have to draft well beyond the first round.
