Just stop digging the hole kid, it's not going to get any better. Aaron Donald is a classic 3 technique player, he's really only valuable as a DT in a 4-3 and simply isn't a DE who would typically be playing the 5 tech in the 3-4. Also, JJ Watt is a 6'5 290 pound monster, you can't compare Donald to him at all.
Aaron Donald is 6'1" 285 with incredibly long arms. He will gain more weight once he's on a professional weight training program. If by the grace of god the texans land donald with 2.1, he will be a 3-4 DE. It's no surprise you hate donald. In fact, I am relieved you do not like him. I (and probably most people in your life) do not respect your opinion.
You're talking regular season numbers. Why don't you spit out his playoff numbers since you brought up super bowl. Lynch has almost rushed for more yards than Russell has thrown for with more TDs. But like I said. You made your point. The defensive line isn't the most important part of the defense and Russell carried Seattle to the super bowl.
Poor kid, you didn't listen to me, I was trying to help you but you just kept digging the hole for yourself. Aaron Donald is just slightly over 6 foot tall, which isn't a problem for a DT, but he's very underweight at 285 and he actually has very short arms which has been brought up in damn near every single scouting report about him. I'm sure he'll eventually put on some more weight but he'll still be on the small side for a DT most likely. He's best used as a 3 tech, I highly doubt you know what that means, but the cliffs notes version is that HE'S NOT A DE. At all. I mean sure you could play him completely out of position and slot him as a DE, but he wouldn't be effective. Hell you could put Arian Foster as our NT if you wanted to, doesn't mean it's a good idea. I know this will come as a shock to a moron like yourself, but I don't "hate" Donald, he's just not a fit for the Texans because they don't run a 4-3. The fact that I wouldn't want to draft him to play him out of position doesn't mean that I "hate" him either. I don't want to draft Shayne Scov to be a QB, but he'll probably be one hell of a LB. Honestly, give up. You've made yourself look like a total buffoon and it'll only get worse.
It's clear you have no idea who Aaron Donald is. Example 1 Example 2 Ohhhhh Kay.... So, now that we got that out of the way... LOL. You are truly a fool. An insecure, know it all, fool. Go back to your cave, troll.
Ah so you can post inaccurate links too....awesome. His arms are 31 3/4 inches long.....is that really "unusually long"? Maybe the reason all of your football opinions are so terrible is because you read inaccurate BS and take it to heart.
It's an especially bad idea if that undersized 3 tech DT is just a hair over 6 feet tall and has short arms.
Ohhhh so now my valid links are inaccurate? You realize one was the Post-Gazette, right? So you are discrediting Gil Brandt? Hahahaha! Clown post bro. I'm sure you spent several minutes trying to find a scouting report which claimed Donald has "short arms".... But, you couldn't find one... So, plan B... Discredit the poster's links. Hehehe, this is the 3rd time I have proved you wrong with facts. It never gets old. You are a sad sad person. I have no doubt that you are an overweight adult who lives at home. #truth
Oh, so Wade can pick his defensive players but Romeo with his 5 championship rings who helped build several defenses can't.... Gotcha.
I posted his actual arm size, not someone guessing at it. His arms are 31 3/4 inches long....that's short for the NFL, hell I'm just over 6 foot tall myself and my arms are around 33 inches long which would just be considered "okay" by NFL line standards. I honestly don't care who you get to say they think he has really long arms, their opinion means nothing compared to the actual numbers. Also what's funny about your last little bit is that you say
I'm not arguing anything, I'm pointing out that you gave us all insight into your personal living situation as evidenced by your choice of words. People who don't live with their parents' idea of "home" isn't living with their parents.
If the Texans drafted Donald he would be better as an OLB not a DE... I don't think he will be a DT on the NFL level... I think a team who runs a 4-3 will snatch him up and make him a DE. He has too much speed to hide on the inside or waste as a 3-4 DE trying to be a space eater.
