Maybe so this way he's doing Cleveland a favor, letting them know to trade him before he walks for nothing.

Can we just finally admit all the hate LeBron got for leaving was unnecessary? Are we there yet?

The hate he got for leaving was unnecessary.

The hate he got for how he left was completely valid.

I still want to hold a grudge but good god, Anthony Bennett makes a pretty strong case all by himself.

Kyrie is basically a rich man's Lin with better handles and glass body.

    OK that's progress.

Eh. Still overblown. I blame ESPN and the type of people LeBron had around him at the time. Are you saying if he hadn't gone on ESPN to announce it that his jersey still wouldn't have been burned in Cleveland? The fans there were mad that he left, I don't think they would have been more forgiving had he did a press conf in Cleveland.

He is a chucker, injury prone, and no defense player. He is a good scorer and a clutch player. TBH would prefer Monta Ellis.

    My thoughts exactly.

I won't hate Kyrie if he left because of the abysmal management of the Cavs.

I'd hate him if he would go as far as to make a televised drama of it like Lebron did.

I feel sorry for Kyrie..... I like the guy, but he is purely a finesse player...... He needs to be teamed up with physical "grinders" in order to win. He just wears down too much as the games progress, and will never make key plays defensively.

The Cavs' biggest problem on the court is Anderson Varejao repeatedly going down with injuries..... He is the only player on that team that can deliver Ws... But when he goes down, this could be the worst team in the league...

The Cavs were a dying franchise prior to acquiring LeBron.... They play in arguably the worst venue in the league (I attended a game there... more bad seats than good seats in the place), had horrible attendance prior to the LeBron era, and things might be even more hopeless in the wake of the inability to win a title with LeBron and now the Kyrie rumors... And with other Cleveland teams selecting head-scratching draft picks (the Browns selecting Brandon Weeden as a #1 pick, for example), this culture of ineptitude might be a Cleveland thing, rather than just a Cavaliers thing.

Maybe the best thing to happen to this Cavaliers franchise is to move elsewhere..... But from the fans' perspective, where no Cleveland team has won a major sports title since 1964 (that's 50 years, folks), such an event could end up sending fans in record numbers to the local shrinks......

Honestly, I think Cleveland fans wouldn't mind Kyrie being traded away as long as the Cavs get a good return. I mean, the Cavs were winning with Lebron vs. losing EVERY YEAR with Kyrie.
