Blessing in disguise, he will be well rested for the playoffs.

Now they are really depleted in talent. Pops system can only take them so far. I predict Spurs will be fine and still win the games they're supposed to win against bottom dwellers. Where they'll suffer is when playing against team with more individual talent which was proved last night against Houston sans Harden plus our team doesn't really have a system but more of a free flowing offense. They lack players who can drive or create there own shot outside of TD, TP, and Gino. Role players are going to have to step up big time hitting open shots that pops system will without a doubt create for them.

Not so fast. Based on recent years, I wouldn't take for granted Manu will be healthy for the playoffs. Rested, yes.

Manu started the year really well too. I hope he's healthy when it matters. One of my favorite players of all time to watch.

They are done. All these injuries will cause tony Parker and Duncan injuries from begging dead tired.

Pop will play the long game and won't wear out Duncan in the regular season. This could open a door for the Clippers to get the #2 seed, which would be appropriate IMO.

Would probably suck for us though. I'd much rather we match up against the Clips and not the Spurs in the 1st round.

Or for the rockets. They already have the tiebreaker against the spurs.

Everyone seems to have injuries except Portland.

I just hope something positive comes out of the Asik situation.

I would hate to play the clips in the 1st round.

Well they've had their fair share over the past decade...imagine what they'd have looked like with a healthy Roy & Oden alongside Lillard, LMA & Batum.

No doubt. Even worse then signing into this site a reading about Yao out for the year.

I think I found out twice that way :(

Clipps would kill you guys. They're about the worst matchup because the pace you like to play at is the pace the Clippers thrive at. For the same reason, the Spurs and Grizz are the worst matchups for the Clippers. Gawd I can already see this being a 2/7 Clipps-Grizz first round, ****.

I think you're a terribly biased poster sometimes to the point of annoyance on this board, but I agree with you here. Clippers can handle the Rockets pace, have the size to counter Dwight, and have the back court speed to destroy our guards.

Do not underestimate the wizard. He planned to lose to a Rose-less Chicago at home last night and a Harden-less rockets before

It's sheer brilliance the way he's losing to all the good teams to rest his players
