You must be new to the nba, defense rarely has an effect on Monta, the only person who stops Monta is Monta, and he does it fairly regularly.

Lebron is a natural team player and has proven that he makes his team mates better.. Look at what he did as a cav. Mo Williams owes him a chunk of his contract.. Harden so far does not have the ability to make those around him better. In fact stats shows he does the opposite. He is quite a notch below Lebron.. Right now he's not even as good as melo in his prime.. Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be another melo, starbury, Francis, etc..

this is Linsanity part 2 minus the part where Jeremy Lin is playing at a superstar level.

the parallel is that a team that seems to play more together without their best player.

We haven't scored on anything but a deliberate foul or offensive putback in the last 2 minutes+ of the last 2 games, to say our end of game offense without Harden is horse**** is an insult to horse****.

So Wade and Bosh became better players after Lebron went to Miami?

Their games expanded so to fit the game of the best player in the universe, and as such, they themselves became better players, thus making themselves the current dynasty.

So it's Harden's fault that Jeremy Lin was unable to expand his game in Houston?

Harden is not perfect, but he has the talent and skills and importantly he is young and has potential to be a top 5 player in this league. The question of does he make this team better is irrelevant because in the long run you always bank on your top talented players. Through experience and minor adjustments they will always end up making the team better in the end without a question. There are things that he definately can improve on, but he is still learning on how he can improve not only himself but for the team.

No- it's all coincidence and chance that Houston beats two playoff contentenders when they don't have Harden hogging the ball and Lin has 2 great games that result in W's. Hmmmmmm........

NetRtg of Wade and Bosh, when the heat were Lebron-less and Bosh was on the Raptors

    Wade - ORtg-113 DRtg-103 NetRtg +10
    Bosh - ORtg-117 DRtg-111 NetRtg +6

NetRtg of Wade and Bosh first year with Lebron

    Wade - ORtg-116 DRtg-102 NetRtg +14
    Bosh - ORtg-115 DRtg-103 NetRtg +12

So Wade and Bosh saw a NetRtg bump of +4 and +6 respectively when Lebron went to Miami, so based on these numbers yeah

I don't understand why you use such a team-oriented stat that's based mostly on team success, but whatever. By your logic, Wade and Bosh are both horrible team players and losers. Because Lebron netRtg

    Last 2 years in Cleveland: +23, +19
3 years in Miami: +14, +19(Battier arrived), +24(Ray Allen arrive)

Lebron got crappier(by your reasoning) and then only got back to his normal levels when Morey's favorite intangibles got there.

This. You can't just look at their total numbers, since obviously their numbers will be down when two superstars and a star get together on the same team. Wade's and Bosh's player efficiencies have shot through the roof since teaming with Lebron (and so has Lebron's for that matter). Both Wade and Bosh are averaging career highs in FG% and 3PT% this season.

But.. comparing Harden to Lebron is irrelevant. Lebron is another stratosphere.

How does the fact that we already beat both those teams w/ Harden this season factor into this narrative?

A win is a win regardless, it is a matter of preference that some teams choose to win ball games by hero ball like kobe or melo, in this case harden, or team work n ball movement offence like the spurs.

In saying that, i think team work win gives more pleasure to all players, fans, n it is ought to be more reliable to get the W.

Wait till JLin has the inevitable bad game, everyone does.

Then watch this forum turn against him.

    Pack of wolves, we are.
