No it was a good plan. I would let wide open calderon shoot rather than dirk anyday.
    Dirk is a freak.[/QUOTE]

I would rather see one on one defense, rather than leaving someone open in that situation. Stockton made that open shot against us, because he was left unguarded.

Really impressed by the way Parsons is able to create his own shot. Looks like a solid 2nd option on a contender. Great to see DMo with his first career double-double tonight. This way, we'll have a complete squad after the All-Star break and we'll be able to push for 3rd-4th. Hopefully, we'll play Portland in the 1st round. I like our chances.

Agree with you to some extent, however the differential in this instance is so great (13-18 shooting v. 3-10 shooting) that it warrants mention.

Lin hit the nail on the head "we didn't do a good job of protecting the lead, we do it all the time and it a cause of concern"

They all say this after every game. Nothing changes.

Morey must trade for a lead protector.

I thought they we taking too much time off the clock at the last few minutes trying to slow the game down.

I thought Rockets should have continue to push the ball or at least try to get more quality shots.

Parsons performed well but games like these from Lin are just rare especially when Harden plays. For Parsons, it's just another day in the office. Also maybe because of Linsanity...

Ellis had a very poor shooting night. I saw him miss a ton of easy layups and 15ft jump shots that he normally hits. Rockets also played much better team defense and it Ellis being in foul trouble really hurt his production. Ellis has always killed the Rockets even back when he was on Golden State. I'm glad he picked tonight to have a off night.

Yes every time lin lights it up, is because the other player was having a bad day, and not his normal self. Yes yes ... Nod ...

No wonder Pasons are complaining the offense flow when Harden is not here.
In addition, Lin has two best weapons: 1) Pick and Roll; 2) Penetrate. To do that, Lin needs to take the ball a lot, which will affect Parsons a lot. Haward likes Lin a lot since it gives him a lot of opportunities when a point guard attacks the rim.

That's what Jeremy's mom said in the Linsanity movie. People never gave Jeremy credit (since high school).

Wouldn't it be something if he was traded to the Mavericks. Cuban wants to slap us in the face. But I can see him going there.

Ellis shot poorly, you say, and was his own worst enemy. However what you failed to notice is that Lin was on him like glue basically all evening. Maybe--just maybe--that had something to do with his low shot-attempt total and poor shooting percentage.

How come every time Lin guards an opposing player that player suddenly has a "bad shooting" game? Yes, it could be, as you suggest, that that opposing player just wasn't himself and had an off night. Or maybe...Lin's defense had something to do with it.

What do you mean? Parsons was quoted in EsPn, so he was interviewed.
