Yeah, didn't seem negative to me. Parsons was stating the Rockets need to move the ball around to get the same quality of shot Harden can get playing one on one.

If this was indeed the context, I'll shut up and give him a pass.

If I remember he's a long time troll. And despite his forum handle, he would bash Yao too all the time.

This post has little to do with Lin, an American, but Lenovo (a Chinese company) just bought Motorola from Google on the same day that Lin took over the game in Dallas. If you didn't know, they build the Moto X in Fort Worth (right next to Dallas). That's right. An American company builds their phones in China, and now, a Chinese company builds their phones in America. Heehee.

There is no doubt that James is our most talented one on one player, and I do not think that he is selfish. Parsons implied that the other players have to play more team ball, but James doesn't have to take on all the scoring burden as he does at times.

Because the slimy refs would probably give Dirk the And-One if Lin was standing even 3 ft next to him.

Besides, that matchup switch should never have happened in the 1st place.

If you tend to say lots of positive things about Jeremy Lin, then you, like others before you, may be stripped of thread-creating privileges. It's their Clutchfans; they can do what they want.

Dirk is aOTE=cur.ve;8654397]"We came over to double-team Dirk to make sure Dirk didn't beat us," Rockets coach Kevin McHale said. "Calderon had a look, but fortunately he missed."

This doesn't even make sense! Dirk woul've tied it.. why would you double and leave the three open?[/QUOTE]

No it was a good plan. I would let wide open calderon shoot rather than dirk anyday.
    Dirk is a freak.

    Tonight:
Lin on Ellis... Ellis goes 3-10, for 6 points

    Back in November:
Harden on Ellis... Ellis goes 13-18 for 37 points, 9 assists

Ellis was cold tonight and was in foul trouble the 4th quarter. Great team defense on him though.

Lol what an insulting answer. It's got nothing to do with our guards defensive effort?

Definitely not selling Harden as a premiere defender, but it's incredibly silly when people do this without accounting for points that come from FTs, the inevitability that someone else took a turn/turns guarding the opposing player, or points scored on players other than the primary assignment in transition. Box scores without all of that context are really a poor tool for advancing this sort of agenda.
