Bev is learning that TOs happen when he actually has to make plays. Welcome to Lin's world. BTW this is totally normal.

We need more Lin/Howard pick and roll, even when Harden comes back. D-Mo had good game too, tonight.

Agree. We should figure out way to play Lin along with Harden.

There was a lot of dumb plays at the end of the game. I'm glad to see Dmo getting consistent playing time, I think he will continue to improve. I also like that Jones and Dmo are such different type of players, I think that's a real plus for the Rockets.

BTW, DMo should win the co-player of the game along with Lin. He played his best NBA game tonight. Hopefully, it can back up both DH and TJ.

Might work tonight but if that were the case going forward ,this team isn't going anywhere.

DMo got more rebounds than Dwight and TJ combined! And he was also doing a great job of switching back on Dirk after the picks. Great to see such a good game from him.

Mavs guards are really good at using those screens - working it back and forth to keep both defenders guessing, until it looks like they have to make a switch. Not making excuses - Lin should fight thru those better - but he had a strong game nonetheless.

I am still shocked at the meltdown the last two minutes. For some reason every time we play EVERYTHING goes the Mavs way in crunch time. We lucked out at the end but we deserve some luck with the ****ty luck we've had all year on game winners.

Refs were calling the most blatant flops against the Rockets, so this win feels extra good.

McHale can't just pull Lin in that moment. Lin wanted to go ISO. It was not a smart decision on Lin. Trying to recreate Knicks-Toronto game.

If Lin had been allowed to be at PG the entirety of the game, and not just the last 6 mins or so, the game would've been much smoother.

GOD, what a narrow escape/near heart attack.

    - Incredible effort by Lin... way to step up in Harden's absence. One of them healthy at all times is an absolute must.
    - Parsons doing Parsons things. Tremendous, as always.
    - YES, Dwight. He makes teams pay for hacking more and more and more as the season goes on, and I am here for it. 100% respect the way he lets the criticism roll off his back and his game speak for itself.
    - Huge contributions for DMo and AB off the bench. I know McHale is leaning on them right now due to injuries/desperation, but I really hope recent performances open his eyes to the value of working them into the regular rotation. DMo has improved tangibly just over this brief stretch of more PT.
    - Not sure what was going on w/ Bev tonight, but Jesus. I have never seen him make so many questionable decisions in a single game... I expect steadiness and decisiveness from him -- not whatever clusterfudge this was. I'll mark it as a one-off w/ a stern warning to get his head back in the game.
    - Harden's shirt was about the fugliest thing I've seen an NBA player wear this season, and that includes Westbrook's overalls and manbags. PLEASE BURN, kthxbai.

I guarantee he doesn't comment on how well the offense looks when harden is playing and we beat teams by 20+. We know why though cause his favorite player isn't the focal point.

Lin had a good game at 18 7 and 7 yes but we're is this Lin most games? Why can't he play this way all the time? I don't want to hear the crap about how he doesn't get the ball enough when hardens playing because that's excuses and excuses are for losers. It should be easier for Lin to score and create with harden who draws entire defensive focus when he is on the court.

I love my rockets and want everyone to succeed but the bashing of our best player is disgusting. No gm in any league is picking jermey freakin Lin over James harden you lof need to get over yourselfs. When jermey Lin figures out how to play with people more talented then him, then and only then will he be a key part to a championship team, because no team with Lin as their best or even 2nd best player is winning a championship.
