O'Brien was in New England when they drafted Mallet. He may not be worried about that. And those "party" issues with Mallet were 3 years ago. He may have matured since then. Teams have tried to trade for Mallet before.
If Jacksonville's signals are mixed they will probably trade up. I am pretty much resigned to the fact that we are most likely getting Clowney. I don't think I will be to upset about it at the end of the day though, especially seeing the pro-bowl.
I do think everything will be contingent on Bridgewater's pro day. What I am hearing is that he through the ball with even more zip than at Louisville. I would like to see his downfield action. BOB will like to see it too
he's just a big time party guy, and let's just say he enjoys the sniff sniff... very reckless with his $ too
My reservations about Clowney is how will he translate to playing as a linebacker. And I definitely wouldn't won't him if they were going to try to make him a 3-4 defensive end because I don't think he's big enough to do it and be effective like J.J.
But has it been a issue or a problem since he's been with the Patriots...??? Because they have several players who party.
Apparently it has, that dangerous considering he'll be in houston with dallas only a couple hours away
What do you mean apparently...? I know he admitted to his drug usage in the past and was open and honest to GMs during the draft and didn't hide it. Haven't heard anything about him messing up are being in trouble since.
Saying that Belichick drafted him isn't exactly an indictment of his character or his ability as a football player, FYI. Also, pretty stupid to suggest his OC and QB coach wouldn't have significant input on the drafting of... a QB.
