He's be our 1st. The dude has the full game. Inside, outside, mid-range, floaters, bank shots, run the break. Complete game. The way he has grown from a turnover prone limited one dimensional game last year to what he is now is just scary. Harden may be our best player today. But I think Parson will surpass both Howard and Harden within 2 years. Where Howard's game is slipping and Harden's game seems to be approaching a limit - Parsons just gets better and better. This may not be our year to go the distance, but if we can get better at the 3 ball percentage wise and assuming our D continues to improve, I really think we're in contention in 2015.
He has a well-balanced game and will be a fixture as an NBA starter. I think he's more of a "jack of all trades, master of none" sort of player, though. Really good, but I don't expect he'll ever quite break through to all-star. Hope I'm dead wrong on that.
No. He's got got midrange though. Come to think of it Lin and Jones in addition to Harden are effective from mid. Take more of those dammit!
I took the bait. I actually am becoming a fan of his now... I never thought he was that great but truly his off-the-ball work is great!
This and that's all. He's a Nic Batum glue guy. An incredibly important piece but he is NOT the guy you give the ball to for a game winning shot. He's NOT going to drag an average team to the playoffs. Parsons is NOT a star.
Today he is our 3rd best, and Harden is very good. But I think he will surpass Harden. That's not a knock on Harden, that's how much potential I see in Parsons. He's still improving drastically as a player. He's going to be up there. Right now I see LeBron, Durant, George, Melo and Leonard as the only guys really above him this year. And next year, I think he'll move up on that list.
I give it until the next Rockets loss when you'll change your mind and want them to let Parsons walk.
