His presidency hasn't been as embarrassing as having thousands of civilians murdered by foreign terrorist on US soil. I think that would qualify any president as worst in US history. Please explain how you overlooked that biggie?

 

Abandoning US soldiers and officials in Benghazi is certainly not a grievous offense, right? And there's nothing wrong with allowing Iran to get nuclear weapons either.

Oh and to actually answer your question, the terrorists were successful because Clinton refused to kill Bin Laden when he had the chance. His reasoning had something to do with being worried about killing a few civilians. If he kills Bin Laden, thousands of Americans possibly survive.

I was responding to the statement made that Obama's presidency was the most embarrassing in history. You can try and blame whoever you want, but the fact is that 9/11 happened under the watch of GB. To me that qualifies as the worst and I'm sure if it had occurred under Obama, nothing would change your mind that it was his fault.

 

I guess you're under the impression that information isn't widely available and used by conservatives to change the subject from the fact Bush ignored intelligence warnings that an attack was imminent prior to 9/11 in which thousands died while he read my pet goat to schoolchildren.

9/11 certainly occurred under Bush's watch. But to blame his policies alone for the attack is ridiculous. I have documented in previous posts how Clinton made mistakes as well. Also, I'm not sure why you are assuming that I think Bush is some great president. I don't think that at all. Your argument that Bush alone is at fault for 9/11 is simply not true though.

 

I will say this again: Bush made mistakes, but so did Clinton. Can we agree on that?
