We had 2 of the most entertaining games of high quality bball against this team, but today injuries reduced us both to different tiers of dog****. Duncan and Diaw were the only two guys on their team who could get a rebound to save their lives. That we got 19 offensive rebounds to 26 defensive rebounds, which culminated in multiple opportunities on almost every play down the stretch is why we won.

"No official word on Harden yet, but since he's not shooting yet it doesn't look like he's going to play vs. Mavs tonight." -FEIGEN 6:05pm

Didn't the Rockets lose against the Mavericks without Harden?

oh **** this is going to be an interesting game with James out o_O. Hell would've been an interesting game with James playing considering how we looked last time vs them.

No crow to eat, and I stand by what I wrote. One good game does not change JL's past and his up-and-down trajectory. Or, I guess, in some of your minds, it does.

I mentioned that Dwight would be as, if not MORE, important to this Spurs game than Jeremy, and as I watched (now looking at the official box score) Dwight went 23 and 16. Not only that, his rebounding at the end secured the game. Hack-A-Dwight? He was instrumental in getting us a lead. Jeremy had good numbers too and he played decently, but it's debatable that his "crunch time minutes" and control of the offense were more important than Dwight's rim coverage, scoring, free throws and securing crucial rebounds.

Look, Jeremy did have a good game, but the hate from the "Lin Fan Club" is hilarious. I'm sorry that I don't worship the ground Jeremy walks on, but I do respect him as a player. Just like ANY player on the team, he is open to criticism, and in many cases, he has deserved it.

I'll respond to that "one" poster in his same passive-aggressive tone: I am a "basketball man," a former player, current coach and a Mark Nelson mentee, so I'm not "ignorant" to the game just because I disagree with you. Not that it matters who I am, or what I do related to basketball, but you baited it. I'm not biased against Lin, but I AM biased towards the Rockets winning with or without one player.

We're not going to agree, period. With most fans, there is a common ground of appreciating players, criticizing them and being TEAM over everything. However, some of you have taken one player in Jeremy Lin and have polarized yourself, the board and an entire fan base. Cheers to you!

Just my speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sits Saturday as well. With only one game in the next 6 days (after tonight), and that coming against a bad Cleveland team at home that you should beat anyway, you could conceivably give James a full 10 days off and make sure it's healed.

James tried to play through the foot issue early in the year, and it became a nagging issue for weeks until he got that five-day break before Christmas. Guessing they want to avoid another round of that.

Interesting thought, but I'm sure he would love to be out their and lead his team under any circumstance

I agree Jeremy had a nice game and was important but my player of the game was also Dwight. He was huge after a slow start on both sides of the court. Jones also kept us afloat when no one else could score. This takes nothing away from Jeremy's good game but I think I read some of the fan club posts that you did. It's nice to know I'm not alone :)

I voted for DH simply for the effort he put in to defend the pnr. He needs to do it all games.
