I'd pick Davis for the AS game, but I don't think it would be a travesty if he doesn't make it this year. Lots of equally great candidates. He's a very nice offensive player, but there's probably a dozen of better offensive bigs. And defensively he's a great shot blocker, but he's neither a great individual defender nor a smart team / help defender yet. Defensively I guess he's about average or slightly above. And his team isn't good, he missed games. I'd pick him for one of the last spots but if they select someone like Lawson, Lillard, Parker, Duncan, Conley instead, someone who was healthy, played great basketball and played a big role on a better team, fair enough.
Western Conference: G - Chris Paul G - James Harden (Starts in place of Kobe) FC - Anthony Davis FC - LaMarcus Aldridge FC - Dwight Howard WC - Tony Parker WC - Dirk Nowitzki Rep - Damian Lilliard (Replaces Kobe Bryant) Eastern Conference: G - John Wall G - Kyle Lowry FC - Chris Bosh FC - Joakim Noah FC - Roy Hibbert WC - Paul Millsap WC - Lance Stephenson Probably the most likely. I just feel like DMC is going to be the biggest snub here. Or maybe Howard may get left off in favor of him, who knows? Afflalo's team record holds him back I think; he should probably get in over Lance.
Those are my picks as well. I originally had DeRozan ahead of Lowry but he's pulled ahead this week. And if Chris Paul cannot participate, Cousins or Dragic replaces him.
