Anyone had it? what does it feel like? Woke up last night with some sharp pain in my lower abdomen and its been lingering all day at work. Idk could be gas...
Might need to go to the doctor/hospital. Don't mess around if you think it might be appendicitis. Hopefully you just have to fart.
If you had appendicitis you would probably know. My wife had it a year ago and she was in agony. Needed emergency surgery. You should be at a doctor's office, not on this website.
haha yeah ive been trying to fart all day....the only thing holding me back from the doctor is the fact i dont have a fever and dont feel sick
Appendicitis = will hurt to move at all Kidney stone = will want to keep moving to try to get comfortable. Gas = too farty.
ok was just chcking because abdominal pain is a known side effect of these meds. i dont think sharp pain is caused by gas.
Where's the pain located? Which side lower left or right? Did it start with pain in your belly button and then move? Any fever or chills?
No fever or chills, the pain started below the belly button but it kinda shifts from the middle to the right
i had apendicitis about 20 years ago. Felt like bad gas after too many jalapenos. I remember the doc gently pushing down on stomach and a sharp pain when he released. i didn't have fever either. Go to doctor
Had appendicitis first day on student-job. Had to cater an event for about 12-hours. My girlfriend was with me and at 9 am I told her I had some stomach pains, she got me some pills but didn't change anything. Eventually told her I was O.K. Around noon I would regularly go to the toilet just to sit down and try to find a position I could sit in for 5 minutes where the pain would go away. Didn't want to go home since it was first day on the job.. "boss my stomach hurts can I leave?".. so I sweated it out until midnight when my shift finally ended. I was agonising in pain. Got in my car and drove the fastest I could to the hospital and immediately asked them to "give me some ****in morphine or ****". Got rushed to surgery couple minutes later. Next day my boss found out I wasn't going to be coming in for the week because I had worked through appendicitis and got surgery. Came back in a week later and got a promotion.
I had it as a kid. For me it hurt on the opposite side of where it actually is ie. Left lower abdominal hurt and it is on the right. Basically it will be VERY painful and will not go away. The night before I went to emergency room I was basically constantly throwing up and would eat something to throw up again bc it did temporarily provide some sense of relief.
If your pain started under your belly button and radiated to the right that's worisom. If you've lost your appetite or had any vomiting that is as well. Push on the right lower part of your belly, if it hurts when you let go, don't wait 20 minutes and go now.
