    According to the TNT crew

    West:
    Aldridge
    Howard
    Lilliard
    Harden

Barkley: D. Jordan, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard
The Jet: Cp3, Duncan, Parker, (Said LEE first then switched to Harden)
    Shaq: Cp3, Harden, Cousins, Westbrook
Grant Hill: Cp3, Harden, Parker, Dragic

ERNIE: Aldridge, NoWitzki, Davis, Lilliard, Parker, Harden, Conley

    East:
    Hibbert
    Bosh
    Stephenson
    J Wall

Barkley: Millsap, Joe Johnson, "A raptor"
The Jet: Derozan, Joe Johnson, Teague
    Shaq: Derozan, Joe Johnson, Noah
    Hill: Derozan, Millsap, Blank

So who should get in and Why?

It blows my mind there is no consensus on CP3 in the west and yet most believe Lillard deserves to get in. I would also take Noah over Hibbert in the East simply because of how much more consistent he is.

    West:
    backcourt:
    cp3
    Harden
    Tony Parker
    Dragic

    front court:
    Howard
    Aldridge
    David Lee

    East:
    backcourt:

    Wall
    Teague
    Joe Johnson
    Derozan

    Frontcourt:
    Noah
    Bosh
    Milsap

Even though he was last years ASG MVP Paul just flopped his way to the bottom of the ASG team.

Noah and Hibbert are debatable. Most analyst would base their picks on winning teams so hibbert takes this one even though he's on a much better team.

Both Noah and Hibbert seem no-brainers to me. They are like top 5 most deserving all stars in that conference. Maybe they aren't as big 'names' as Kyrie or Wade or Bosh, but deserve it more, IMO.

Noah is half of that overachieving Bulls team. He's anchoring the 2nd best defense in the league, and he's right at the top or near the top in every main statistical category for the Bulls. Points, rebounds, blocks, steals, after tonight he's probably even going to lead that team in most assists for the season... Noah is the Bulls. 21-21 isn't an impressive record, but most of the East teams suck, so I don't see many people who deserve it more than Noah.

And I don't see many players who deserve it more than Hibbert. Jeff Teague, DeRozan and Joe Johnson? Give me a break.

This isn't Noah vs. Hibbert, both are clear all stars this year.

    Maybe because he's injured?

By the way, I think CP3 made it as a starter? He shouldn't be on reserve lists.
I think it was CP3/Kobe as starting guards, Blake/Durant/Love as forwards.

West is tough. Every time I think about it, I end up with a different list.
    Guards: Curry, Harden
    Forwards: Aldridge, Dirk, Dwight
Wild cards: Anthony Davis and then any of Tony Parker, Conley, Duncan, Lillard, Cousins, Dragic, Lawson
And then one or two of those guys will also make as injury replacements.

I think the East is easier, there just aren't many deserving all stars.
    guards: Lowry, Wall
    forwards: Noah, Hibbert, Millsap
Wild cards: Bosh and Al Jefferson or Drummond
There are many good big guys in the East this year, but no guards. In reality they will probably pick another guard, someone like DeRozan or Joe Johnson.

Will be a shame if Demarcus Cousins doesn't make it if you go off stats.

And I contest Hibbert deserving to get in. His numbers are underwhelming especially in rebounding. 12 and 8? Give me a break. He is going to get in regardless, because the East sucks that bad. Remember when 12 and 8 was bench player/role player numbers and 18/15 or at the very least double figure rebounding meant all-star? Maybe the C position is dying.

    West:
    Aldridge
    Lillard
    Harden
    Howard
    Parker
    Davis
    Cousins

    East:
    Bosh
    Wall
    Afflalo
    Hibbert
    Lowry
    Noah
    Jefferson

Cp3 didn't flop his way to the bottom. If he didn't get hurt this wouldn't even be a debate

Wait, so Curry was voted in over CP3.. wow.. Well, good for Curry, health wise it was deserved.

CP3 should still be a shoe in for the backup spot. He missed 11 games so far but he was by far the best guard in the league during the other 34 games.

I really hope Davis gets in. Brow is a walking double double, to go along with a gazillion BLKs / game.

It's too bad his team sucks though.

Lowry should be in. He is top 10 in win shares.

If Anthony Davis doesn't get in, its a travesty.

If he was in the east, I would have taken him over Paul George. That hype train has derailed

Lowry isn't even the best player on his team. DeRozan deserves the nod before Lowry.

Harden will probably start now that Kobe will be out. So, the West Reserves should be:
    Guards: Paul, Lillard
    Forwards: Howard, Aldridge, Dirk
    Wildcards: Parker, Davis

    East Reserves
    Guards: Wall, Stephenson
    Forwards: Bosh, Hibbert, Milsap
    Wildcards: DeRozan, Noah

The East All-Star list is pretty sad. While on the West, I left out Parsons, DMC, Westbrook, Duncan, Jordan, Dragic, Conley and Lawson, who have all had amazing seasons.

derozan is an inefficient chucker. Lowry is better than derozan.

I promise you Derozan gets pick over Lowry simply for his youth and KL7's apparent history with coaches

Barkley's choices are turible! Leonard? Really?
I'm surprised they didn't all pick CP3 after the MVP first month of the season he had. Maybe because he is injured all some aren't sure if he will make the game.

    West:
    Howard
Harden (if he doesn't get chosen to replace Kobe in starting lineup)
    CP3 (if healthy)
    Dirk
    LMA
    Lillard
    Davis

    Wildcards: Duncan and Cousins

    East:
    Hibbert
    Affalo
    Wall
    Bosh

Wildcards: Lowry, Teague, Millsap, Noah, Johnson
