I like it. Either way, I'm happy for the Kings fans for Sacramento. They keep their team, and the team gets the new arena. Win/win
Except for the fact that the city will be spending a fortune on the arena and not get any actual economic benefit from it. And the fact that, because Seattle lacks a team, the NBA can use relocation as extortion to build new stadiums whenever they want. Other than that, yes, everyone wins.
So what's the lifespan for the last generation of arenas? I'm wondering when we'll replace Toyota Center... As nice as it is on the inside, it seriously lacks curb appeal
