I understand your point, but our government was not setup for the Congress to be "partners" with the President.

Are you referring to the Voter ID law? If you are, why do you find it to be so discriminatory? We use our driver's license or other form of ID almost every day.

 

Because of who it affects in disproportionate numbers and Republicans are on record as implementing numerous election laws as way to intentionally lower the turnout of black voters.

 

I'm referring to the Voting Rights Act but it's no coincidence that the states passing some of the most strict voter ID laws are the same ones that fell under DOJ required supervision until the Supreme Court gave them a free pass. You really have no idea what you're talking about. And it's discriminatory because citizens have a Constitutional right to vote. It's odd how conservatives trumpet the Constitution and the 2nd amendment but stomp all over the amendments they don't like.

Bulls**t, it's not oversimplified- I've been doing this careers thing for 15 years and women are absolutely discriminated against in terms of pay at all levels.

Except in one field- the federal government- where the jobs ads posted on USA Jobs list the salary and it stays that way regardless of the candidate's gender.
