"O'Brien is from the Belicheck school of misdirection" except when it comes to Manziel. "He really means this"
I know someone that saw OB talking to a UT family about not drafting Manziel...he said that OB had his fingers crossed behind his back.
I really think Bill O'Brien will do what he wants and doesn't give a **** what you think. And I think you do not know if he is lying or not but are acting like an ass pretending you do.
My best friends brothers girlfriend saw O'Brien at 31 Flavors last night. She said, "OB who you like in the first." He responds, "not sure, but he'll help us get over troubled waters."
U mad? You have become the ass. The rest of the posters in this thread clearly are convinced that this story is legit.
Thanks for the info. Obviously this is not a sure sign of anything and we might take Manziel anyway, but I appreciate awc713 letting us know what he heard. Just take it for what it's worth and don't flame the op. We need posts like this.
I agree, I don't think OP was trying to be some super secret insider, he's just spreading what he heard. Let's say in fact that the story IS true, should he not have shared it? BOB may have just been placating to the kid's burnt orange roots; who knows...It's an interesting story during an otherwise Houston Texans "dead-period" regardless. I for one, appreciate the story, thanks OP!
Naw kid, we're drafting Bortles... Lol. I don't know how true the story is but I can believe they're probably not drafting Johnny.
The Decision is Bridgewater/Clowney: really the decision is "is Bridgewater the guy you want define your NFL tenure with". If yes, it's pretty simple, if no, take Clowney move on to Plan B at QB.
