    And another thing, the only thing I can't stand more than grizzlies getting slighted, is rocket fan who devalue their 1994 team with OT for Clyde's 1995 team.

    The clyde trade is just one of the MANY philosophies that make the rockets instituted that have caused them to be a second rate franchise to the spurs. Culminating in the Horry, Cassell for Barkley, the quitten era, tmac and a bag of chips and now harden, howard experiment.

    You guys have an appetite for over the hill stars that always amounts to nothing.

    Having 3 #1 overalls, in years when Yao, MJ, Hakeem, and Sampson came out and only have 2 championships to show for it is a terrible return on investment. Not to mention that you got a 1a in Steve franchise that ultimately landed you tmac, and can't even get out of the second round of the playoffs.

    I mean I'm definitely happy I'm a rockets fan rather than a grizzlies fan, but I wouldn't say this year we're better.

    Mike Conley is a player's player. Unlike you I watch things other than scoring. Conley is one of the 15 best players in the league, by far.

    Wow, you really are trying hard to troll. The Drexler trade DID yield a championship, so it is ridiculous to lump that together with the Pippen trade, which obviously did not work out. You win some, you lose some.

    As for the Barkley trade, that got the Rockets to the conference finals in 1997. You might not remember, because you were probably busy trying to convince somebody that "Bryant Reeves is about to show the world he is on Hakeem Olajuwon's level."

    What on earth does Michael Jordan have to do with anything? The Rockets selected Olajuwon in the 1984 draft (not Jordan) and went on to win 2 championships. 1 pick does not allow you to draft 2 players. Could you argue they should have selected Jordan instead of Olajuwon? Sure, you could. But I think all-in-all, things worked out pretty well.

    (Edit) also, pretty silly for a Grizz plan to gloat about "return on investment" for draft picks, considering your team wasted a #2 overall pick on Hasheem Thabeet.

    whi cares about the all star team. I don't. I never cared about that crap game. You want to say I'm a home, I don't care, Conley's game has no weaknesses, none. He is an unbelievable talent on our team.

    I wouldn't trade conley for harden, or dwight, or pretty much anybody else else, save: durant, lebron.

    and I wouldn't do a deal for any pg in the league, though I'd image that Curry would be about the only guy that would move the needle of the franchise in that direction.

    even though i think conley is better than curry and he is cheaper than westbrook and cp3.

    I get it that you are a Grizzlies fan and have pride in your team. Why are you on Rockets board constantly trashing the Rockets? I dont get it, do you expect to have a rational objective dialogue while you are constantly flaming the Rockets?

    So I'm guessing your a Conley only fan, because anyone with common sense would immediately trade him for a player like Kyle Lowry, which is an upgrade.

    There's no point in listing those players because no other GM in the league would consider offering either of them in a package for Conley, but we"ll let you live your fantasy. :rolleyes:

    For the record, I would stop trying to criticize the Rockets as a team, unless you have some banners you want to rave about, and the true rockets fans in general, since there is proof around here that you were about to bail on the grizzles franchise? ;)
