I'd be happy with either of the four but Jenkins is the one I want. He's bigger than Amaro and Ebron, faster and probably more athletic and he has shown he can block as well. He's the Jimmy, Gronk, Julius, Jordan in this draft in my opinion.

If he blows up at the combine you'll hear about him.

Jenkins also played basketball... Always go with the TE that can hoop.

Just making sure seeing how you said trade back we better land Amaro or Ebron. And Fieorowicz would be my 2nd choice out of the four.

Colt Lyerla would be my sleeper. He may not even get drafted because of his background. But may be a good pickup as an undrafted free agent if he has his head and life together. He can run the ball too...

But this is a deep tight end draft.

I would think that Clowney would be the one player teams would trade up for.

Amaro and Ebron are much better than the rest. Jenkins is a distant 3rd compared to those two.

When was the last time someone traded up in the top 5 for a DE?

    Does not happen.

Trading into the top 5 costs a lot, and DE don't make that kind of impact to rationalize it.

By the numbers they put up in college _ yes. But by ability _ I seriously doubt it.

A DE or OLB has been selected in the top 3 picks 5 of the last 10 drafts (8 of the last 15) and you could only argue that there has been 1 or maybe 2 prospects in that time as good coming out of college as Clowney.

what does that have to do with anything?

no one will pay the price for a DE.

only positions worth it is QB & WR.

If DE's are drafted in the top 3 even when there isn't a prospect like Clowney out there because of positional importance, teams would be willing to trade up for him. He's by far the best prospect in this draft and pass rush in an era of QB's throwing the ball all over the place is more important than ever before.

That said, since a prospect like that is THAT important, there's very little chance anyone would trade the pick away. When there is an Andrew Luck pick, you don't trade it, when there is a Julius Peppers you don't trade it.

......don't worry then.... because no one would trade up for a DE anyways...

Those two dudes are just as likely to be Coby Fleener type tight ends (barley average)... Or maybe O.D. caliber at best (which wouldn't be bad).

But look around the league and look at the best tight ends. And they are basketball type guys. Big, long, and athletic and Manning, Brees, Brady, and Rodgers have one (or had)... This has been going on since Gonzalez and Gates came in the league. And Jenkins and Fiedorowicz fit the mold more so than Amaro and Ebron.

Well I'm not worried, I'm pretty sure the Texans will draft him. As to the "no one would trade up for a DE" nonsense, there's a reason why they are the second highest paid NFL players. Stop making yourself look bad.

    ahem.. wut?

amaro is a legit 6'5", and ebron is 6'4"

both can run circles around Jenkins and Fiedorowicz.

not to mention they have far superior catching skills, body control, and route running.

    you should stop blathering...

I think you may be right.

As of now, Clowney doesn't grade out as high as Peppers when he came out. So unless he just puts up out of this world #'s I don't see anyone moving up to draft him at #1.

I think the only team we can trade with is Cleveland if they are serious about Johnny.
