its a crime drama/ thriller set in late 60's Florida.

Don't let the cast scare you from watching it, i was a little hesitant because of Zac Efron but he is actually pretty darn good in it. Oh and the Trailer doesn't really do the full movie justice.

but here is the trailer anyway... (i don't know how to embed)

The Act of Killing - 9.5/10

One of the strangest things I've ever watched, but such a good documentary. Truly fascinating and disturbing.

The Way Way Back - 8/10

Very enjoyable. Sam Rockwell is awesome and the story is really well done. Could see myself re-watching this one plenty of times.

Wow, really? That is an extremely high rated film, and I loved it. It is more about the build up and the suspense than anything.

To each their own I suppose.

Very good film, and one of my surprise favorites of the year. If you liked that one, check out Drinking Buddies. It's on Netflix Streaming now.

I just watched Guilt Trip with Seth Rogan via Netflix streaming, and dear God was it terrible. 0/5. All I wanted to do the entire time was smother Barbara Streisand with a pillow.

The Proposition(2005): An Austrailian western movie that takes place in the 1880's with Guy Pierce and Ray Winstone.

Excellent film. The tone and visuals are haunting and beautiful, the story is good and the way its shot you cant help but be glued to the screen at all times.

    8.5/10

    Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit 7.8/10

Paced fairly well, except for the beginning. Good action, somewhat reasonable story (although the economics make no sense).

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - 7.5/10

Thought the first one was average at best, and didn't have much interest in this one because of that, but I was forced into watching it with a group of friends and I actually ended up enjoying it. Cool twist at the end and the actual Hunger Games part was a lot better in this one than the first one, I thought. I might actually end up being excited to see the 3rd and 4th movies now.

Jobs - 6 out 10. As someone that lived through the rise of the PC and Apple, I was actually looking forward to this. While they really put effort into making this seem close to the real history (locations... eg I recognized the original Bubb Rd location; getting actors that mostly looked like the real people... Kutcher was a no-brainer, Woz was a bit off), but there was something a bit missing and it mostly ran like a made-for-TV movie. They obviously were (overly) focused on Jobs' walk, and Kutcher also over emphasized the "I am the smartest guy in the room" look Jobs always flashed. But ultimately, movies require you to like or at least care about a character, and not unlike "The Social Network", it was hard to find someone to like in this one (probably because the real people, other than Woz, were unlikable). To the filmmakers credit, both my wife and daughter liked the movie a lot more than I expected.

btw, they nailed Sculley in the movie... as much of a dick that Jobs was, Sculley was as much (if not more) of a dick, in a slimy, smarmy way.

Watched drive again last night. I guess it's one of those films you either love or hate, but I love it 8/10

It has one of those moments that is so out of nowhere that you don't even have time to get ready for it. Kinda of like the beginning of Up. Loved the movie but after the ending I had to leave the room. I was watching it with my girlfriend and I didn't want her to see me sobbing. So glad I didn't see it at the movies.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. 7/10. Rockwell was awesome, enjoyed the story, just expected more from a screen play written by Kaufman.
