Continuing the tradition of the best of list with BonziWellsGOAT, this time with Basketball! Now for this list, only list feature films related to or dealing with the sport of basketball. No documentaries please, it's too easy, lol. There are plenty of basketball related films, go google them so I'll start.

    1. White Men Can't Jump- It's just that great, possibly my favorite movie of all time.
    2. Sunset Park- Danny Devito's ex-wife Rema Pearman is excellent
    3. Above The Rim- Bad ass street ball movie, with the late great Pac!
    4. Basketball Diaries- arguably Leo's best film
    5.Fakin Da Funk- Filipinos
    6. Space Jam- The movie sucked but I put it on my list anyways

I have not seen Hoosiers yet, maybe I'm biased but I like my basketball films to be a little more "urban?" I have the dvd so calm down basketball purist, I will eventually get down to watching it.

Does Coach Carter count as a documentary?

No because it's a feature film with actors. Hoop Dreams is a documentary.

    He Got Game.

How can you leave Jesus Shuttlesworth off your list?

I like your #1 pick white men can't jump, I thought it was a great movie. Hoosiers definitely belongs IMO, although it is overrated imo.

    1. White Men Can't Jump
    2. Glorie Road
    3. Simi Pro - (Will Ferrell is funny to me)
    4. He Got Game
    5. Coach Carter - (based on a real person but it's not a documentary)

I never saw above the rim

    honorable mention:

    Hoosiers
The Fish that Saved Pittsburg (really bad acting and definite ABA - 70's feel but how can you not like a movie with Dr J doing his thing)

Teen Wolf - Probably the best on screen player of all time. Much better than Jimmy Chitwood.

Nothing like a 30 year old, 5 foot tall Canadian playing a high school basketball star. And the dad looked like Jerry Glanville.

    I'll nominate Finding Forrester.

I'll put up Celtic Pride and Eddie for the worst, even though I thought the coach in Celtic Pride was a good parody and Dwayne Schintzius (RIP) had a funny ripoff of Muresan's perfume commercial in Eddie.

got another vote for beavers' legend big wolf. He was Isoing before it was a play used by hof players turned coaches.

'forget paris' is never mentioned, but it's a look at the life of nba refs before the kickbacks and free plane tickets. Debra winger was excellent. Would still hit that right now!

If you love paula patton and who doesn't? Just wright might be the wright film for you! A little cheesy but still enjoyable.

The air up there! I loved it when it came out.

    Inside Moves
    Hurricane Season
    Mighty Macs

I can't remember the title but Sam Rockwell played a drunk coach of a girls high school team. Rockwell is awesome, as usual.
