The numbers are clear, Kevin McHale is a bad coach no matter who starts PG.

Oh wait, Jesus will only agree to come to the Rockets if Lin is the starting PG.

Well since you guys are so sure that PatBev is the starter I won't argue that.

However, and many of you who believe PatBev should be the starter has stated this before, Lin should be getting more minutes.

PatBev playing more than 30 minutes - 10-11
JLin playing more than 30 minutes - 16-6

Granted JLin hasn't played exceptionally well past few games but given the minutes and the role hes playing I think he did okay, if a bit below average.

The guy played all 82 games last year, had great numbers after the all star break and was on fire in the first 20 games or so. Suddenly, he is having trouble even getting court time. That has got to **** with his mind a bit. And as we all know, Lin is a mental player. If hes confident he can destroy you, if hes not, well, you know.

I get that Bev is good and sets the defensive tone. But the blatant bias coaches have about him versus Lin is a bit puzzling.

Both players have a role to play in helping Rox secure a win. But IMHO the way the coaches are handling it they definitely aren't maximizing the strengths of the players.

Ok guys, before I get lambasted, my posts were based on Lin actually playing like his former self again. What in the freak is happening? Bev not much better tonight either. Conley was reminding them both how its done in the L - represent.

I think our problems go way beyond the Lin/Bev argument now

We also have a serious McRebounding problem that was all too obvious tonight. For once we could have used the TT's.

Lin was playing shooting guard. That's not his strength. He should've handled the ball and run the offense. When he doesn't, we aren't using his best skill set and he looks lost too. All on the coaching for this one.

George Karl said a while back that Lin is the engine that makes the Rockets team run. If true, McHale isn't doing a good job of nurturing a vital part of the team's identity. We're seeing the early results.

Lol. We had three point guards on the floor. What rebounding are you talking about? Lin versus Randolph?

there does seem to be much less pushing of the ball in transition these days.

True, true - but even with our bigs out there it didn't look good - they were getting aplenty-o-offensive boards, 2nd chances - and took advantage of them. Also, not just a problem this game, just the most recent eg.

Talk about misleading and cherry picking statistics.

Lin played 28 minutes today in our blowout loss. I'm sure those 2 minutes were the difference between winning and losing.

Lol. I'm sure you watched the game. Lin got those minutes mostly in garbage time.

Anyway, you are missing my point. I think most neutral observers can agree that Lin is the better player. Now my question is should he be getting more time or Beverley?

Since you guys are so sure on the starter being Beverley, I am taking this from a different point. Who do you think should play more?
