Glad he'll use this as motivation, but I don't know how he could be surprised he didn't make it. He was pretty awful during the summer training camp and people said he probably wouldn't get selected. Unless of course he thought he played really well.

He played like a scrub past summer, that's why he didn't get an invite.

I watched him play in the USA Basketball camp in Vegas and he was not himself during that time - maybe too much partying the nights before? He had many chances, but would turn it over, brick a wild shot, miss a layup, etc - I believe that is why he didnt make it.

He has every right to be pissed. Y'all realize this may have been his only shot to play in the Olympics... Next time they roll around he won't be as athletic as he is right now. That little step could be what keeps him from being there. Korver is not the player Parsons is. I think he's a better player and deserves that spot. I understand why they'd pick Korver, but Parsons deserves it much more.

I really don't know what more you want from Parsons. He's having a terrific year and just keeps getting better. I think Parsons is our most consistent player game after game. I think Parsons has a right to question why he wasn't selected for the player pool. He was asked a question by a reporter and he gave an honest answer, I see nothing wrong with what he said. Sounds like you are just pissed off that we lost a game and you want to complain about something.

He's a good player, but his value is in large part related to salary and lack of capable SF sub in our system. He has developed a reputation for below average defense.

I think what Parsons said was pretty strong, but I don't think he's being a cry baby or should be condemned.

Yes, it would have been better for him to be more humble, but geez, he's just upset and being genuine about how he feels. I feel like we live in an era where sports players can no longer be honest but have to show this fake humility and honesty all the time. Maybe it's better for them to say what's on their mind and how they are feeling, even if it's a little petty.

And what's wrong with him feeling he deserves it. He's tied with Paul George for offensive efficiency at his position at 1.35 PPS. That's incredible. He's in the top echelon of the league with those numbers.

Kawhi Leonard and Hayward are getting the nod as up and coming players but Parsons is putting up better numbers this season. I think I can feel why he got snubbed and maybe it does have something to do with the fact that he is an unknown quantity.

Look. He's a good player. If he felt like he deserved it that's fine. Glad he's that confident and he has a right to be. But let's not act like this was the biggest snub or something, and he can express his disappointment but probably shouldn't refer to it as a "joke"

For crying out loud we're talking about a team where if all players were to play and play their natural position, Carmelo 62 would be the 4th string SF
    Durant lebron and George.

Hey Chandler, learn to move without the ball through screens, because your lateral quickness and agility does not allow you to create your own offense by crossing over and pulling up for jumpers. If I see you do that again, I will slap you. If you learn how to make the most of what you are, then you will be an all star and get consideration for the Olympics. Till then, STFU and work harder.
