was listening tonight, can anyone confirm- were the 10 three pointers consecutive?

I was under the impression he didn't miss until his last attempt.

that has to be a record in of itself, and surprising that it isn't part of the headlines for Chandler's night.

    dude was straight balling.

sucks that it came in a losing effort like this.

    Def sucks

    Per Friedman:

IIRC, he tied Kenny Smith's team record of most treys made consecutively, but The Jet did it over the course of a few games.

I'm also wondering what the consecutive record is and why the consecutive isn't getting more play.

And, of course, he really hit the 11th in there that was waved off for the off-ball foul.

Doesn't go in the record books, but it does mean we all saw Chandler Parsons hit 11 consecutive 3s that one time.

Surely it's the NBA record for consecutive 3s in one game.

Dude got NBA Jams real-life Bighead.

    Thanks!

    Here's how he got open:

    Transition treys: 3
Pump fake to create space/mismatch: 2
    Defense collapsing on Harden: 2
    Lin penetration: 1*
    High screen by Dwight: 2**

*Lin's drive initially created some separation, but there was a delay in getting the ball to Parsons because Lin got popped in the mouth. Nevertheless, Parsons had enough space and was feeling it.

**The last one of these was a set play where the defense chose not to switch when Harden went from one wing to the other and Dwight screened for Parsons. Gasol was forced to stay with Dwight as Johnson decided to fought through the screen. This only worked because ZBo chose to stick on TJones to prevent a corner trey (otherwise he could help on Dwight and Gasol could have rotated to Parsons).

Clever play that could have resulted in an open J for Harden/Parsons or open lane for Parsons/Dwight.

Note: Parsons was obviously on fire, but Harden's decision making and McHale's play-calling played a big role

They're not competing for the money, the teams are competing for their signatures. When a free agency like this one, there are usually a lot of teams that save up money and cap space to go after the big names. Some of them will get what they want, some won't and they'll be left with a pile of money, wondering who they'll spend it on. That's how the stars-but-not-superstars end up getting overpaid.

It happened back in 2010 and that's how we ended up with Iso Joe and Amare competing for "worst contract in the history of the NBA."

LOL @ Bill coming up with a new spot for deep 3's.

"He hit that one from the dressing room!"

"He hit that one from the 610 Loop!"

"He hit that one from Minute Maid Park!"
