This was bound to happen. The Grizzlies have a lot of size but are terrible offensively, this is why the Rockets almost beat them. They just match up really well, their best defenders happen to match up to our best players. Also, T Jones is a good player but for the love of god, box your man out. Jeezus!

It's all the big men, ZBo somehow outworked Dwight to get an offensive rebound and basket off a free throw!!

Don't look now guys, but our schedule aint' gettin' any easier -things could get ugly in a hurry in this next stretch of games unless those shots start falling again. Can't rely on coaching in tight games.

Actually, we can rely on our coaching being poor. Its the team's play that is inconsistent.

We are now 11-10 against teams with winning records and 18-6 against teams with losing records.

I've been sounding the alarm about this. The schedule is about to get really tough, especially coming out of the All-Star Break. Given the way the Rockets play against Western Conference teams who are playoff-bound as well as their average road record, they're in for a rough ride the last 2 months of the season. Especially if they don't get something for Asik before the trade deadline.

Since we have traded often with the Kings lately, we may as well get Jimmer Fredette too and give them a bench player or 2 in return. He is a great pure shooter and is bigger than Brook and PB. His 3 pt % is awesome - 50% in Nov. 42% in Dec., and 55% in Jan. We should get him to pair with Harden. Then we won't be losing these close games. He is like a smaller Redick and can play pg or sg.

Lin was on the floor for the last shot. Beverley ended up with the ball in a scramble situation when Parsons was trapped and had to hurriedly pass the ball to the first guy he saw.

I'd be good with that. I think harden at pg with a beast sg would be nice.

It's fairly typical of 50-55 win teams to have this kind of breakdown in wins. Teams with bad records have bad records for a reason-- they lose more often to opponents than teams with good records do.

Not many teams win more often vs. good teams than they do vs. bad ones.

Anyone else laugh at the play McHale drew up for our final possession? I laughed so hard that I wasn't even mad. That was comedic gold. Just goes to show how inept McHale truly is

Missed the game tonight. Looked at the box score, we lost by a POINT and EVERYONE sucked besides Parsons and Lin (wot). This of course is just what i'm assuming from the box score.

Gonna have to watch the replay... even though I don't want to because I have a feeling McHale drew up another last minute "play" lool

I didn't laugh at all, there was nothing funny about it. I'm not saying that was the reason the Rockets lost the game, but it sure didn't help their chances of winning.

Missed this game. What the hell happened to Harden and Dwight on offense? We should win any night when Parsons scores 30...
