    that last play was a disaster. terrible. one of the worst after chandler set a record. what would you call if you were McHale?

    Me? Dwight sets a pick for Harden, Harden then goes to the hole for a foul/score or throws an alley-oop for D12 or can pass to an open guy like parsons/lin if another defender collapses and tries to help defend Harden.

    Pick in roll with Harden and Dwight in the middle. Parsons on right wing, Tjones sets him a back pick, Parsons slips to corner. Harden has option to take ball to rim, oop to Dwight, or kick out to CP for corner three.

    I would run:

    Harden ISO, lose ball, PF jumps on ball, pass to Parsons, Parsons to Lin, Lin fake 3pt pass to Parsons... GAME!

    Harden cut and Lin was open. The play looked like it worked to me, Parsons just didn't "check down", to put it in football terms.

    Get the ball to harden, pnr with Howard, drive, kick or score or foul.

    It's just not the last play. They closed down the driving lane pretty good. Parsons was not, but that doesn't happen consistently. McHale has to go. It's that obvious now.

    you can foul on a pick and its not considered intentional. So dwight gets 2 fts. terrible call yo

    If I'm coaching I get Harden the ball and have him penetrate to the basket. He is probably the best in the league at scoring in traffic and with it being a one point game you only need two to win.

    Always go for the hot shooter, ie Parsons. Let him through a double screen for an open 3.

    Even if McHale didn't have the aptitude to draw up a play, I can't believe they didn't have 2 or 3 standard plays ready to go for late game situations. Anything, just anything.

    Actually, it could work as we only need 1 point to tie it. With DH shooting 50% ft, we would have had a chance at least for overtime...

    You know what, that's true. Could have drawn a foul or try to hit a layup or jumper....3 isnt neceessary but sadly Bev got trapped because he got a bad pass from Parsons
