Should Jeremy Lin be our closer instead of James Harden?

The problem is NOT James Harden.... The problem is the head coach not trusting anyone other than James Harden for the closer role......

I personally think both Chandler Parsons and Jeremy Lin can close out games on occasion.... And if different options were allotted, Harden would become a LOT more effective at closing out games.

You guys are living in a fantasy land if you think anyone other than Harden will close out games under any system and any head coach.

I like the formula that we stumbled upon in the Spurs game. Lin opening and controlling the offense from the top with Harden on the wing, taking it easy for the most part. And then Harden closing strong. I wished we'd go back to that. I've sensed they've tried to go back to that formula but it has been short-circuited early by Harden if we were tied or got down. So there's no real commitment to it. Just like there's no real commitment to make Lin an integral part of the starting unit. Please don't bandwagon that statement, LOF's and please don't bomb that statement LOH's. It's simply facts. This team is trying to trade Lin so we can make way for bigger and better things.

Totally disagree..... I do think most other coaches would still have Harden as the primary option, but would NOT have him as the sole option.... Because star players are far more effective if the defense is worried about multiple threats, rather than just the star player.

No one should be the main guy in the last 4 minutes of a game. They should just play team ball and get a clean look for the open man.

Immediately I thought of Pop and Spoelstra, maybe not Spoelstra. Im sure there are some more but your point has much validity.

Teams don't need a "closer". That stuff started with MJ. We don't have an MJ.

I just wish we had a plan.

So the question is, do you give the ball to your back up PG in crunch time, rather than your star scoring guard?

    Lol.

Are you not happy with it? Why would anyone not be happy with it? A win is a win, no matter who steps up.
