Dragic would shoot himself in this offense. That's like playing with an even more ball dominant version of Bledsoe plus a low post guy that needs constant touches. His number with Bledsoe are mediocre, but he's really getting the stats up and shining with BLedsoe out so many games.

Dragic has a great coach and has confidence in him

People seem to forget that Lowry was avg. 10/6 with Rudy gay

Everyone said that Lin is ball dominant , well 98% of starting pgs in the league are ball dominant

This. I have to agree with you.

A lot of announcers are homers, that is fine with me.

But I have never seen home court announcers clown its own player except Rockets announcers.

They were pissed (and rightfully so) that Morey let Dragic walk, and him bringing Lin back was like spitting in their faces. They might say all the right things in public about supporting Lin, but their treatment and substitutions really show what they think. At this point, we need to get another PG who has the confidence of the coaching staff with Harden and put Bev in the backup defensive specialist spot where he can do the most good. Or we replace the coaching staff.

He needs to go now imo, might even make Asik play n Lin play to his potential. I should have named my forum name Fire Mcfail or sum cause I will never get over this and people might mistake me as a PBOF when Parsons has been my favorite since Lowry left. Still not over this I hate Mcfail as coach like I hated Kubes but I hope Morey doesn't wait till the end of the season cause this team deserves better

Morey with the help from CF feeds data to McHale that they should stick with PB for starter, in tight game situation like this, deep in Morey's mind, he knows McHale will stick with PB and play with the hot hands and ball will get sticky, as Rockets lose more of these types of games, Morey will use this as an excuse to fire McHale. #ilikeconspiracy

At this point I have to wonder if Morey regrets not accepting Lee/Bass for Asik. Courtney Lee alone would've made that a good trade because he's been excellent for Memphis. We still have no legit backup SG and Lee would've been awesome because he's much superior to Harden defensively and he's a 40% 3-point shooter.

Not only do we not acquire him, but Lee's played a big role in the sudden revival of the Grizzlies.

Sick and tire of same excuses. You are the coach. If you see ball getting sticky, do something!!! Not just waive your finger...

No, Morey want to use Asik+Lin's money to get a 3rd star, either by trade or FA, he wouldn't settle for role player like Lee.

I think the problem is with McHale. He wants Rockets to push the tempo and play unselfish. Yet, he's preferred starting guards are Harden and Beverley. If we want to continue with our up-tempo offense, then ball should be with Lin. That's his strength. Harden prefers half court set with 1 on 1 opportunities, while Beverley's strength is with Defense and hustle. Both does not mesh with McHale's offense strategy. If he truly believes Harden/Beverley should be our starting guards, then he needs to move away from up-tempo and start utilizing set half court plays (PnR and Post Dwight with cutters).

I thought Asik's screen was bad last year, but when compare to Howard, it's night and day... We need to teach our players to set better screens and block outs.

Beverley didn't shoot well but to blame him is rediculous

Its on McHale for the downright rediculous playcalling down the stretch, Parsons was on fire playing off the ball, coming off screens, no matter what you put the ball in Harden's hands but you actually run some fkn action to try and get Parsons open, if that fails, resort to what he ALWAYS DOES ANYWAY and just isolate Harden given he's the most proficient on the team at that.

But what the hell do we run? A Parson's PnR with him as the PLAYMAKER?? eugh

I blame Mchale a lot anyone who has seen my posts knows I blame him, in key situations where a real coach is needed we will either get bailed out by Harden or the refs or it's a loss. But I think tonite we should lay some blame on the players, who seem to think they got it in the bag whenever they play a non playoff team, so they dribble around as if they can just coast through a game and then turn it on later. You can blame that on a coach not being able to motivate his players, but at the end of the day those players have got to want it. They have to be hungry, beat their chest and work hard every game.

We have a young team and an average coach so we are going to have to get used to ugly ball, inconsistency and bad coaching for awhile until they grow. Something tells me either Mchale stays or Finch replaces him, either way this will be our system. Buckle your seat belts because this ain't changing anytime soon. At the end of the day we are still 5th seed. It may be sloppy but were still better than last year and may make some noise in the playoffs, that's all we can ask for.

So you have a starting pg playing 30+ minutes contributing only 3 pts on 1/11 shooting with only 2 assist and he is the best fit pg for this team? Common people, be real. That is only true if Harden & Howard are unstoppable and playing out of the world consistently (like LBJ). We can't have our pg just playing defense. None of the pgs in the contending teams of the west only play defense. They all have to contribute on offense, Parker, Westbrook, Curry, CP3, Lillard, even Conley & Lawson. How can we contend with them during the playoff if our starting pg can't score or assist? If Morey/McHale think Lin is not the answer, trade him for a better offensive pg, but Beverley is not the starting caliber pg who you can rely on game after game for offense and/or assists, especially when the big 2 are not producing and that will happen during playoff. Face the reality. Let's get Rondo or Gordon & trade Asik and/or Lin if Lin is used the way he is as a backup.

A first round exit against OKC or Dallas highly probable in the cards at this point.
