Lin is guarding Lee in the second quarter. McHale went small ball. Got the offense going but Lin isn't really able to guard Lee. He was doing okay on Conley earlier.

 

A couple days ago he went 0-16 against Dallas.

If someone on our team went 0-16, clutchfans would explode into a supernova of hatred that would rip a hole in the space time continuum and snuff out all life in the universe.

 

is this a joke. The rockets are playing awful. They are lucky they are only down 9 at this point. IT could be a blow out by the 3rd quarter. This is a terrible performance by several players. And the grizzlies are playing much tigther D this time around. Beverley needs to step up or else get the hell out of the way

Harden is guarding LEE . But lin takes over guarding him once Harden gets his rest. The question is if McHale likes AB so much. Why the hell isn't he playing. THis is crazy coaching once again.

 

Lowry at least helped get us Harden. But Goran, we should not have let him get away. McHale wanted Goran.

I'm sure McHale reminds Daryl of that from time to time.

 

McHale was just in full panic mode... trying to come up with all kinds of weird line-ups. Different day, same story about his inablility

This is my biggest concern with this offensive philosophy. When the three ball isn't falling it's like pulling teeth to score. The better teams in the league will not allow you to get out and run and knowing you're looking to leak out they will crash the offensive boards and kill you just as we've seen before. Just once I would love to see some curls or baseline screens to free up easy shots.

 

The Law of averages tell us to shoot another 14 3s and we will make 9 of them. But this is the Rockets. We are the records breaker. We could break another record for 3s tonight going for 1/28!

 

In other news Melo has 51 points still in the 3rd Q on 21/28 shooting

 

Honestly we need a coach to just tell Morey to sit down and STFU when it comes to coaching and strategy.

2 points are 2 points...and if you can get that 2 points consistently on a mid-range jumper you do so.

LMA lives off of that and so should players like Harden who has shown he drains that shot more often than not.

 

Maybe the weather and getting to the game late? They do look like trash so far but its not game over yet.

Lowry is not coming back to H Town but if we could trade Lin for him when McHale gets bounced im all for it

 

No. Through the 1st half Harden has been on Lee briefly, Prince and Zbo. No one player has guarded one other player exclusively in this game.

And to answer your AB question, because Lin and Bev are better players.

This is not crazy coaching. This is players missing wide open shots.
