By your logic, Phil Simms and Joe Flacco weren't accurate...

Rest of this is pure speculation

His deep throws are hurt with his lack of refined footwork on his 7 step drops

Phil Simms wasn't accurate and Flacco isn't accurate. What point were you trying to make by bringing those guys up?

Funny you say that considering by your definition, that's nothing but speculation.

To a certain extent, sure, but if he's 6'2 and 205 or even 210 instead of 6'1 and a half and 195 does it really make any difference? He's still got a very small frame.

Updated to reflect today's updated grades. Bridgewater and Bortles both gained a point.

    Alex Smith 98
    Matt Leinart 98
    JaMarcus Russell 98
    Vince Young 97
    Brady Quinn 97

Those numbers should make you take pause and question their methodology but also it's important to remember that all of these guys were considered better prospects than ANY QB in this draft.

True. All good quarterbacks have to have solid and well built frames.

Or because he doesn't have as strong of an arm to drive the ball down field. We'll hear about it on his pro day.

It's interesting that Leinart, Russell, and VY all had questions about their dedication to the game. TB may not have the raw talent many of these guys do, but I'll take a QB that's dedicated and willing to put in the extra work because he loves the game. Worth the #1 overall pick imo.

Joe Montana maybe the closest comparison to Bridgewater

(not in terms of career trajectory)

    But height/size/arm strength/accuracy/accuracy on the run/pocket presence/touch

In today's game if you want to keep them healthy they pretty much do. The smaller your frame, the more likely you break when you get crushed by a 280 pound DE who can run a 4.5 or 4.6 40 time.

LOL, most of his deep ball that he missed was because he had to much arm strength.. He threw them over the receiver. He's playing we weak receivers, you put NFL receivers and they will be able to catch up to his deep ball

I'm not sure Micheal Vick or any other small frame QB would agree. Players are bigger, faster, and stronger now than ever before, sure the rules have been changed to try and keep them alive, but it doesn't take much to break one of those small QB's.

Also the Montana comparison is funny considering he struggled with injuries almost his entire career, I guess no one here is old enough to remember.

How do you know his receivers are weak...? I've seen games when they got a lot of separation, except for the UH game. Just the same his arm strength is in question by some (some say it's not as strong as Johnny's) so we'll hear about if it is or isn't when the combine and or his pro day rolls around.

so now your saying that the Receivers in Teddy's weak conference are top notch receivers with speed that can catch anything thrown their way, but Teddy is not that elite because his conference is weak?
