This was just off the top of my head. Notice I said 22 players but didn't list them all. Too much time to look it up on my phone, I figured my point was proven anyway.

Thats funny. Not only did John Wall have a 4.0 in college, but him, along with Cuz, Rondo, MKG, and Davis all return frequently during the summer to work on their degrees.

PPat graduated in THREE years. Chuck Hayes is also a graduate. As is Josh Harrellson.

Cuz has a full custom full court UK blue/white basketball court in his back yard. He was really exploited, so exploited he designs his entire court around his school.

Are you suggesting UK shouldn't take the best players in each class? Maybe they should go to, say, Duke like Jabari Parker, or KU like Andrew Wiggins?

There aren't many teams that WOULDNT recruit one and dones if they had the ability. That statement is true as evidenced by the number of one and dones at other schools this year.

Wow really San Jose? How did she "blow her savings" by just attending a hockey game and a museum? (If I read that correctly) Sucks on her end, I wonder why she's not able to ask one of her relatives to spot her money to purchase a ticket. Kudos to her though, she seems like shes still in good spirits even after all that happened.

Nice. Josh Harrellson and Chuck Hayes are the mainstays that made your program what it is. And so what? Wall got a 4.0 in 1 semester at college? Nice.

I'm not necessarily hating on UK in general, but the 1 and done scheme. I get why UK does it. It may not work every year, since I genuinely believe a college team needs veteran kids to pull through in MM, but yet, Callapari generally gets his pick of the litter.

I think the 1 and done rule ruins college basketball. I wish they'd implement baseball's rule. You can leave after HS, or you must stay 3 years. Staying for a year (basically a semester with all the travel), does nothing to further these kids.

The ones that choose to go to college would actually benefit and get better under this scheme, but instead you have scrub players like Marquise Teague (Sorry--he blows) leaving after his 1st year. Stay a couple more and develop as a player, but more importantly, as a person.

It'll be fun to see how long it is before a bunch of those wins get vacated because calipari is a sleaze and a known cheater. He is the perfect example of what is wrong with aau and college basketball.

My school is by far the best.

    PG.
    SG. Devin Brown
SF. Bruce Bowen received credit for a few class which doesn't count but I didn't want Devin to feel lonely.
    PF.
    C.

    Devin Brown 2005 NBA champion.

He is also the guy who fell down and lost the ball that led to T-Mac capping off his 13 in 33.

Your school can claim that 100% of alumni that make it into the nba have won a chip.

Hey Dont forget Barrick Nealy ok... the guy who almost brought us the coveted SOUTHLAND conference championship, and was in the NFL for about 60 days.

Us Bobcats know how to evaluate Talent in "sports" alright.... just not the sports you think of off the top of your head.

How scary woudl this Kentucky team be if they acquired Jeremy Lin?

He would take all of their exams and they would all stay elegible.

I agree Teague is garbage, but theres two sides to this...

If you ask Coach Cal (hes said it numerous times) he would adopt the baseball rule. I agree. It provides stability, the ones who can leave can just jump straight to the NBA.

Where I have the dilemma is, how many millionaires has any other school made in the last 4 years? I can tell you UK has made about 15, maybe about 25 by the end of 2016 at the current rate. While Teague does suck, he was slated a first rounder and in all honesty, thats probably as high as he'd ever go. So why not take the guaranteed contract, pocket a few million, and if you get booted and sent to the D league or traded, oh well you have a nice cushion provided you dont mismanage your money (he probably will but thats not the point).

Cal is making 4 or 5 millionaires a year, and the one and done rule as a whole is allowing 10-15 players reach their dream of becoming rich NBA players every year.

Thats why I think the baseball rule is best... but...

Its the NBA who won't change their rules of acceptance. Too many dumbass GMs took chances on high school players only for them to be duds, and it was killing franchises. The NBA has implemented the rule as a way to protect them, from, well, themselves.
