No Chris Paul? No Center? Nobody to suit up to play the 2? and Blake Griffin? WTF!

 

Guys can you help me understand this?. Last I checked dwight howard was second in fav voting how is he not starting?. Coaches choice?. Even in the fan voting he was high. How the hell is dwight not starting. I think here for long there needs to be 4 all star teams that compete for the final east vs west so many stars and good players now.

unfortunately for the Clips, they don't have a third best player. CP3 and Griffin are fine as 1 and 2, but they need either a very good #3 (almost as good as Griff) which they don't have, or a generally better supporting cast. Well, it might actually be enough if DJordan could fulfill his defensive potential, but I don't expect that to happen.

A lot of critiques of Griffin are fair critiques of a player who doesn't exist anymore. He's turned into a point forward, improved his shooting from horrid to below average, and has developed a post game good enough to be useful against some matchups, and improved his free throws, all while maintaining an elite ability to get to and finish at the rim.

He was overrated, and after the backlash, became underrated.

 

I mean, i would have selected Love, LMA, and Dwight all before him, but he's not out of place.

 

The allstar game is becoming a joke! Needs a revamp! The fact that Kobe, Curry, and Griffin getting voted in over harden and Howard is a joke! The fact that there isn't a a center on either team is a joke!

Why would you be upset, there's plenty of others who could and maybe should start in the West. Truth is, Love has done great and has been snubbed a couple of times so isn't it awesome that a small city team can get around their player and vote him like this?

 

Other team fans can complain the All-Stars game voting is based on popularity except Rockets fans.

We have huge Asian fan base since Yao era.

This was not a snub at all. Howard has burned the fans on both coast. Much like Labron when he left the Cavs. So this is what the FANS wanted. It is not about his play it is about his past actions. He is with us now so we overlook his past.

 

It's more than weird that Howard has been business touring to Pan Asia several time last few years.
I think he's got a big Fan base in china. m I wrong???

I wish Howard was starting, but people clowning on Griffin haven't watched much basketball this year. He's been fantastic with and without Paul.

 

Of course fairweather fans are going to vote for Blake. That guy can dunk which is instrumental for a Show off game like the Allstar game.

Dwight lost a lot of hops in LA and he is starting to get his game back. Folks are really slow getting it.
