I wish we had Asik for this game

Anyway, I think we come out with a W.

We could certainly have used Asik for this game. I am hopeful of a good show from our guys.
    Go Rockets!

Seeing as how LMA dropped a career high, who will rise up to the challenge? Dwight? Harden? Parsons?

    Lin?

Jones didn't practice yesterday (Thursday) because of an illness. Might be a no-go again tonight.

    Hey all!
I know it's far in the future, and it's not that thread-relevant (didn't see any immediate thread about schedules) -

I just looked way ahead to find out when will we meet those Heat champs already,
and saw that we have the following sequence, starting March 4th:
    MIA - Mar 4
    ☆ ORL - Mar 5
    IND - Mar 7
    POR - Mar 9
    OKC - Mar 11
    CHI - Mar 13
    MIA - Mar 16

    A nice one, isn't it?

And why are the Bulls in red, you may ask?
Well, you should look at their record...
They are 12:4 in the past full month, 9:2 in January so far
(Yeah, their schedule was easy, but 4 L's in a whole month?? I say they deserve some respect...)

The earliest we see them after Regular season will be in the Finals!

The key to Indiana will have to be Dwight Howard. Hibbert is good and all but he's getting overhyped. In a playoff situation, with his star power, Howard will get calls, and he will get the space he needs to operate in the paint.

Scouting report: Rockets host Memphis Grizzlies

Three things to look for in Friday’s matchup with the Grizzlies:

    1. Remember us?: With Marc Gasol back, the Grizzlies are back to their full grit and grind style, a particular issue for the Rockets with Omer Asik and Greg Smith out and Terrence Jones questionable with a deep thigh bruise. The Rockets went to a two-center lineup last season after Zach Randolph dominated Donatas Motiejunas. That made Smith a starter late in the season, but Motiejunas has played well in his two starts with Jones out. The other issue could be foul trouble. With the Rockets potentially short-handed, especially up front, Motiejunas has fouled out of both games he started.

    2. Remember me?: Tony Allen, who James Harden said might be the league’s top defensive player against him, is close to returning from his wrist injury and is listed as day-to-day. He has been out since Jan. 3, but the Grizzlies have since acquired Courtney Lee who has stepped in as a starter and has excelled. Lee is averaging 14.9 points and making 54.2 percent of his shots since he was traded to the Grizzlies. His 49.2 percent shooting and 42.9 percent 3-point shooting are both career-bests.

    3. Grizzly bears can't beat up Rocketships. Metal is very hard for claws to puncture. Although the Rocket can't swing back without arms, it can blast off and singe the hairs off the Grizzlie's body and possibly cause 3rd degree burns, which, left untreated, will cause infections. On conclusion, Rocketships are also immune to infections.

Another illness on top of the deep thigh bruise?

Durant drops 60. Aaron Brooks' 3s key our comeback. We win in double-OT.

No Asik, no Smith, no Tjones(probably). Memphis has Gasol and ZBo so this looks like a very tough game. Dwight and DMo will have to avoid foul trouble, which seems unlikely, so I see the Rockets really struggling. Rockets will need to have one of those games where they make all their three pointers.

Seeing Jones, Smith and Asik still out, I might have to dvr this one and get back to it, conditionally.

With our injuries, this is such a bad matchup for us.. DMO May foul out in the first quarter. And then *gulp* Casspi will have to guard Zbo

i think it'll be ok. i am ok with lin but for starting even though bev isn't all that much different talent wise the team plays with more energy and focus when he starts. against certain teams especially if they are athletic not sure if it's because he's so focused on d or still learning how to manage the 1st team but the rox play more tentative when he starts..
