...and the winner is SMALL BALL!!!

    Disgusting, ridiculous and wrong.

LeBron James is starting center for the East?

    Lololololol!

So wrong on so many levels.

The commissioner chooses injury reserves, because the notice for an injury can be too short for coaches to be notified and all pick.

You said we would be "homers" if Westbrook and Curry were healthy?

What does that mean? Curry is healthy (to my knowledge). CP3 and Kobe are injured and will likely not play. Why would we be homers when Harden and Howard are a lock for the game, even if everybody was healthy?

So... What happens on this board when Lin, who got more votes than Harden, doesn't make the cut and Harden does?

I predict a massive LOF meltdown that will not end, and will amplify the hysterical and paranoid conspiracy theories about how everyone just hates Lin because, I dunno, he's Asian-American or something? There will be accusations of racism thrown about.

Well, here's how the "selected" players match up when I compare their RV (up to about 20 games played):

    For East:

    K. Irving - 1287 (Questionable to me, since K. Walker is around 1319 and J. Wall is 1325 - but hey, this is by fan voting)
    D. Wade - 1342
    L. James - 1301
    P. George - 1331
    C. Anthony - 1344

    For West:
    S. Curry - 1480
    K. Bryant - (he didn't play much tentative RV 1229 haven't calculated to the latest games yet, questionable to me too).
    K. Durant - 1309 (this will go higher as he's been on fire)
    B. Griffin - 1378
    K. Love - 1401

Our rockets potential ASG players are only - J. Harden 1304 and D. Howard 1326.

My personal opinion, if the players aren't performing at RV above 1300, they don't really fit into the ASG - so to me K. Bryant should do the gentlemenly thing and decline for this year (he isn't really having a stellar performance) - of course my preference would be Harden being chosen to take over his slot ;-)

I don't have issues with either Griffin/Love being chosen over Howard (dissapointed yes, but if we look at their current performances there isn't really any issue of them starting over him).

Everyone's saying LMA should be a starter actually, they just did a vote on it also, but you can't deny the season the season LOVE is having .

These are fans voting that watch mostly NATIONAL TV games keep that in mind which means they saw Howard get handled by BARGS in ny, take A L at home against the lakers, struggle against Hibbert in a blow out & get handled by Perkins at home... Keep that in mind

no you aren't reading it correctly

the commissioner chooses who replaces the injured player, meaning that player will be on the squad, but the coach decides who starts.

Basically, Rondo was voted to start last year, he was injured, Stern chose Lopez to replace Rondo on the squad.

Spolstra chose Bosh to replace Rondo in the starting spot

They need to make it position specific. Pg sg sf pf c. This is r****ded. I know players can have multiple positions but they should state what their main position is and go from there. I know Duncan was in controversy because they weren't sure he was a pf or center a few yrs back.

Tone it down dude, thats uncalled for. Everybody knows Lin is nowhere close to being good enough but he is still a rocket and no need to be that demeaning because of the cretins that follow him.
