This movie is definitely going on my list, if it promises what it can deliver.

This is a really hard list to compile, because 'Action Movie' is such a broad term.

SO, having to be broad, let's see what we can come up with..

    (In no particular order)

Supercop (technically this was Supercop 2 - I was blown away when I saw this at the Greenway, way before Chan became a star here)

Dragon Fist (in my opinion, this is the greatest Jackie Chan movie of all)

    The Matrix

    Aliens

    Avatar

    Terminator 2

    The Dirty Dozen

    Inception

    Predator

    Big Trouble in Little China

    Iron Monkey

    House of Flying Daggers

    Highlander

    Smokey and the Bandit

    Die Hard

    Raiders of the Lost Ark

    True Lies

    JAWS!!!

    Pirates of the Caribbean

    Taken

    Das Boot

    ...

And on and on for probably a couple hundred films.. But these are all movies that I would probably just drop everything and keep watching if I come across them on tv..

great lists all around. they don't make action movies the way they did back in the 80s and mid 90s, that's why i was surprised when I watched raid redemption and how awesome it was.

Good call -- we definitely have to have some John Woo represented. I liked The Killer a lot as well.

Some nice lists and I love the mention of Das Boot. It's one of my favorite movies and am including it if it counts as action.

My list in no particular order.
    Das Boot
    Enter the Dragon
    Aliens
Robocop (The original not the new remake)
    Musa The Warrior

    Warriors of Heaven and Earth

Fearless (Jet Li's not Jeff Bridge's)
    The Dark Knight
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

People are listing Aliens. The James Cameron sequel is an all out action movie.

Waiting patiently for it too. Floor 7, the drug room, and 2 on 1 are the best scenes from part 1

    EDIT

Found the whole movie on youtube for those who have not seen part 1.
