Pretty sure only way Ainge does this deal is if the Celtics receive Jones and the Rockets take back Wallace.
Ah ok, thanks. Strange, "precautionary measure"... Perhaps just taking it slow coming back from the injury.
Lets hope we get this trade over with then. Hopefully asik and Lin go there. Asik and Lin has no place on this team. Asik is pretty obvious to why. Lin, clearly not worth the 8.3 million for his role with the team now. Time to get er done morey
Rather wait it out for Kevin Love, then if that doesnt work out go to plan B. Believe it or not, i think that will be the case all along anyways. Morey has been wheeling and dealing and staying pact for the 2015 FA class for a while now. Dont really want, or need Rando by the Bev has been playing. Hopefully we can flip Asik for a shooter
Exactly, like i have said all along, Love is the ultimate prize for him, and until its def that he wont be coming to Houston, I dont think Morey will make any moves counter productive to that.
I'm torn on this. Rondo is a great player and would instantly make this team so much better but OTOH I'm always skeptical when someone returns from ACL surgery having suffered it myself. The Knee is never the same, it takes a while to get the mental strength and confidence to trust in that knee. Advantage Rondo has is that his game does not rely on as much explosion as Rose or Westbrook
Yeah, he's ready now, as evidenced by him shooting 0% from the field a few days ago and not even being able to play last night....Sounds really "ready"
1-23-14 @tocherandrich - Boston sports radio "Danny Ainge just told us that they offered Rondo an extension, and stated that Rondo would be paid star money"
Thank goodness the Celts want him long term. Don't want him anywhere near here. Lowry would be cheaper and frankly a better fit. (Not that I want Lowry back)
You are out of your mind if you think McHale would bench Lowry for Beverly. McHale might not like Lowry but he wouldn't decrease the team's chances of winning just because he doesn't like him.
