People liked the block because Bev demonstrated attitude and toughness.

Cousins is a trashtalker and a whiner, so Bev shut him up and stared him down.

Cousins also rolled his own ankle.

I think that "block" had more to do with cousins already falling. Must have felt good to the little guy tho.

Still, it is better than Cousins throwing the ball up and it going in.

Yes, Cousins rolled his ankle before the block or any contact.

Best game of the year start to finish I've seen out of the Rockets this year...and by best I mean the best effort especially defensively I've seen.

When we play defense like that, the game becomes so easy for this team as they get out in transition. Easy baskets leads to setting up our defense....rinse, repeat. It makes irrelevant our 3 point shooting percentage cause the majority of our shots are coming at the rim. Beautiful basketball to behold.

To be quite honest, I think a LARGE portion of the reason we got that effort tonight is because of Patrick Beverly returning and setting the tone. I think his hustle makes everyone want to up their game.

    Wow. What a display.

    Congratulations to all.

I wonder if JHarden should become a PG and we get a SG.

Who is the #2 SG around?

Does that mean you hate yourself? If you're a Rocket fan, you should be a Lin fan.

Jimmer is a pure shooter. He can pour in 20, 30 points a game if given the chance and time. He is like Steve Kerr of MJ's Bull, a deadly 3 pt shooter if given the right team and right coach who can maximize his skill. Like Casspi or those guys traded to the Raptors for Gay, the Kings is a burial ground for talents. Once they leave, they blossom into good players under a different coach and a different organization. Jimmer is wasting his time there.

What a sweet day for the Rockets. We get another W with Spurs, Clippers and Mavericks all losing. Is it Christmas already?

Haha, a good try. But he is more useful to Portland then when he was with the Kings. I am referring to players like Patterson, Salmon, etc. They are playing great for the Raptors and helped turn around their team who is now a leader in the division.

Ah...intensity is a little overrated, look at Kevin Garnett.

I always find Jimmer to be a bit slow and overrated. May become a Matt Maloney version 2.0 though.

I hope that our 3 point shooting percentage will improve. We got by against the Kings, but against a stronger team it could have really gotten tough out there.

What a dominant game last night by our Red Nation Rocket Boys. Love the intensity and killer instinct that we displayed after the first 6 minute mark of the 1st quarter.

Harden and Howard are my MVP'S of this game. Parson, Casspi and Beverley had very good games. Everybody else had solid games.

Cousins twist his ankle before Beverley blocked that shot. Please go back and look at that play.
