Or go from an early 6moy candidate to scrubtastic in a couple months. Someone needs to give him some serious advice right now about playing like a man out there Clutch, you can talk to him right? ;)

Lin chipped in 13/4 and for the most part played decent. Not sure what you are upset about unless you are unrealistically expecting Linsanity.

Lin looked tired man... D Mo is soooo inconsistent I don't even know if his consistent play is even that good...

Hilarious to me Bev puts up 2-9, 6 points 8 assists and gets praised.

If Lin had that same statline people would be crapping all over him. Is the bar really that low for Bev?

I wanted Gay Cousins to play so the Rockets could properly avenge the ugly losses earlier in the season. I'll take the 3 in a row though!

I am sure the best GMs in the league use boxscores to determine how well a player played.

Some say GMs also confirm their eye tests with highlight videos.

Lin improved his stats when the game was over. Bev is just a whirlwind of swagger out there. The team clearly missed his F-U attitude. Good to have him back.

Hope Lin quickly gets his 6th man mojo back. We won't be very good without that scoring punch off the bench.

It's the body language - the totally disengaged look - it's mostly on offense strange enough. There was a stretch there where he didn't get any touches - and I didn't blame the team - he just isn't inspiring confidence in his teammates right now. I know the #'s look decent, but some of that was garbage time - and he's doing very little of what he's best at - attacking the rim. Sorry if I sound harsh. His 3pt shot looks off again as well. On the plus side, Covington's stroke is legit.

Why the hell Bev vs Lin again?

Freaking Rockets blew them out and are 29-15

For the record, Bev had a good game with 8 assists and Lin did just fine for a bench player

He is probably down because he knew he blew his chance to be a starter, whereas PBev comes back and immediately makes a difference.

I did watch the game dick. When someone calls Bev's statline "looking great" and Lin's as "one step above useless" there's a double standard, and there always has been.

Man this is ridiculous. We won! Lin is a good scorer and Beverly is a good glue guy. With this starting five we don't need another scorer and the bench needs a scorer. It's like when we had bob sura with tmac and Yao. He brought the attitude.

    What a day!

    Clippers lost to Bobcats
    Dallas lost to Raptors
    Knicks lost to 76ers
    And Houston won by 20.

Dude - I said I'm a huge fan - just a frustrated one.Yes ,the bar is lower for Bev in terms of scoring and he did his job well tonight - I hold Lin to a higher standard because he has set the bar higher, not me.

Totally agree. He should go see a shrink or something. He's so lost out there. It's just so painful to watch as a fan. It just seem like Mchale was force to play Jeremy. I wonder who could that be? hm..? The poison pill come back to bite them in the ass. All those money could have been used to strengthen Rocket's bench. At this rate, if he is not trade before deadline, he's probably going to play like a scrub for the rest of his contract.

Now that Jeremy Lin is done. The only two contenders left for that 3rd star is Parsons and Tjones. My bet is on Tjones. That kid is a beast and he's still young too. If Tjones can prove himself in the playoff, he is a legit star next year.

I'll take the W even with the Kings not losing Gay and Cousins. Rockets have been out of key players most the this season also.

Next two games will be huge. Time to see where the team is against the Grizz with Gasol and Zebo. I hope TJones is ready for Friday's game and Looking forward to see IF Asik will be back next week.

Glad to see the Rockets finally get a win over the Kings this year. Not sure why people have to love or hate Lin/Beverley/Harden. They all play for the good guys. I have to agree with those who have posted that Jeremy seems to be playing tentative again. He needs to get his confidence back. Many of his deficiencies come from being tentative and indecisive. Personally I love all of those guys and want to see them all do well as it only benefits the Rockets as a team.

No, Lin won't be a starter on this team no matter how good or bad he plays.
