So even more reason for him to wait then.

I dont see any issues with us not having an OC...Crennel basically has the defense on lockdown too. There really isnt that much more responsibility for OB.

If you and I can see that htown... I'm sure he understands that too. Plus he probably knows he can always find an offensive line coaching job.

Also, the Texans may understand the situation as well and may be waiting on him if he doesn't get a head coaching job.

True.. I guess if i was in his position i would wait until they tell me im out of the running... , but man do i hope the Texans get him..

Obrien should also look into other teams that have good special teams assistants..
Maybe the KC special team assistant.. I think we need a new direction on special temas.. That alone has cost us so many yards.. I know Marciano is out, but his assistant still there

BO'B, who has taken over a 2-14 team, hasn't even had a practice yet and already the criticism is out in full force. Nice fan support.

An OL coach can be an OC, see Bruce Arians and his staff at AZ. Bruce hired Harold Goodwin as OC who was previously only an OL coach. Arians also brought Tom Moore as a consultant. Official title is Assistant HC/Offense Consultant.

We'll end up with something like that I'm guessing.

Could be the tipping point with Munchak if he's stuck choosing between us and Pittsburgh. The title means a lot.

    LOL

@JasonLaCanfora tired of hearing your guesses and hunches that you report as if fact. Mostly speaking about articles, not tweets. Most wrong

@JasonLaCanfora As surprised as you were when Shanahan did not get a interview in Houston or more so?

As for Pepper Johnson, not really sure there is a role for him on the staff. I suppose they could find a role for him as some sort of "defensive assistant" but...

LaCanfora is a total hack. The Joseph offseason was the last of him for me. Unfollowed.

He falsely reported the Texans were meeting with Nnamdi IN PERSON after the Joseph signing in order to stir up hits and get more follows. I remember asking him if they could afford to sign both, how it was possible and he responded with something like "They are meeting right now!"

He's as bad as all of those Northeast phony insiders who get famous on twitter.

Damn... that really does suck. I want to see an NFL vet on the offensive side of this coaching staff.
