Only players up to their second year in the league can be sent down.

You're the one being the prick. He answered the questions as best he could. English is not his first language, so it can be difficult for him to say exactly what he means. I see nothing wrong with what he said. You guys are just looking for anything to criticize him for.

Don't know if he's really hurt, or anything about what's really going on with him. If the trade deadline passes, I hope he'll get on board and give us something. I did see him on the bench, looking on with interest, during most of our last home loss to Sacramento. That was one of those bad losses, where Dwight (& everyone else) never really got going-- except Harden, who got heroic, won, and then finally lost the game for us.

I think Dwight's back is pretty bad. Never see him reach down-- certainly no diving on the floor. It'd be great if Omer would come back and take a lot of Dwight's minutes. If that's not happening, let's hope Camby's in shape soon.

I'm almost willing to trade asik for a bag of peanuts at this point. Can't believe how childish this waste of talent is.

It's funny how it's his hip one day and his knee the other. We cant even keep up with his lies.

Getting paid for whining and not contributing. I don't care what the circumstances are, you signed a contract with this team. Crappy teammate watching his teammates that he sees every day training hard and playing night and night out. Hope he gets traded to a crap team for a long time.

I seriously don't even understand his beef. Even off the bench, he'd still be getting anywhere from 20-25 minutes a game, plus he'd be contributing to a winning team. If he wants to start, he can play out the next season and then be a valuable expiring deal at the trade deadline.

This scenario seems to make more sense to me as time has gone on. That said if he has a serious injury then he would likely fail any physical after a trade.

Who knows... The Rockets are so tight lipped about things. I wish cyberx had some info on this.

Asik is stupid. Does he not realize he's hurting his value by not playing? Teams are looking at the way he's acting and going "We don't want to trade for this guy. He's a distraction and immature."

IDK, I feel like he should be playing, showcasing his talent for other teams to see.

I'm just trying to remember the last time an NBA player missed this much time with a knee injury without having it operated on. Greg Smith has been in and out of the lineup with knee problems, but at least he tries to give it a go once in a while. Every other player I can recall who missed a lot of time due to a knee injury had major or minor surgery on it.

Flame me if you want but I'm still an Asik fan and hope he gets well soon, gets his head right, and solidifies the second unit defense. We are better with him than without him. Winning solves everything.

At this point Asik playing an NBA minute will help raise his value to remind people how good he is. He knows that will help him get traded too (he was playing before he got injured and even after threw his b**** fit because he realized this too.)

His value is lower than it has ever been...him still refusing how to play just sounds really fishy.
