@WojYahooNBA: Y! Sources: After six years away, Houston Rockets star Dwight Howard will return to USA Basketball roster. http://t.co/y4DLigjfJj http://sports.yahoo.com/news/dwight-howard-returning-to-usa-basketball-213705507.html Good thing for the publicity, but bad for his body?
Dwight's the only Rocket to play every game this season, yet at his age and size, I don't know how good of an idea this is. If anybody needs to play for the summer team it's Parsons and T. Jones. I feel like playing overseas has really helped players better their game.
inb4 broken legs and retirement rockets are forever cursed by national teams how old was yao in 2008 when he played for the olympics i think 28, coincidence?
Its a great honor to have a player that is a lock for that roster any day of the week, and a great way to represent his country, but damn.... I dunno... I think his body could really use the rest more than anything. Still, its very exciting to have a Rocket on this team, and it looks like they are going to dominate this Summer.
I don't like it, but I understand if he wants to represent his country and play in the world's premier sporting event. Hardly anyone would say no.
Guys, where is your national pride?? I don't want Dragic exhausted or possibly hurt too, but it would be a national catastrophe if he didn't join his NT...
Yep. Gotta get that campaign back up and running again. Didn't you know? The NBA championship each year is determined by the popular vote.
no one on team usa gets worked that hard anyway, they play minutes and often defense like an all star game
