We need Rajon Rondo!!!

1. He's not still a top 5 PG in the league until he proves it.
2. That wasn't a "bad" game, that was a laughable game. There's a difference.
3. Pointing out that he looks terrible isn't "going crazy"

Rondo for Asik and Lin would be a great trade for both teams. Both teams get the PG they deserve, and Boston gets a defensive presence. Makes the most sense to me. Morey can just toss in a pick to sweeten the deal. Get er done.

Wouldn't matter if he was, he's a head case, he wouldn't take coming off the bench for Bev well.

 

Top 5? That's debatable. He has a career 24% from 3pt land and career 62% FT shooting. He can't shoot for **** in general.

Would you trade Rondo for Bev then? Rondo is a far better player but you love Bev more!

 

Kyle Lowry is the perfect answer for this team ,strong and explosive rebounders, great defense instinct and above avg shooter with great penetration.
But Mchale and Morey have to go if Lowry's coming back. So its not gonna work .

 

IMO, here are the reasons why I think Morey will try to make the Asik + lin + draft pick for Rondo trade happen.

1. Asik wants out - The obvious one, we would had already traded his bum ass if Morey didn't ask a lot for him, which brings me to...

2. Morey believes we need another star to be truly a championship team. And yes, Rondo is considered star.

3. We just recently tried to acquire Deron Williams, until Morey wanted nothing to do with his knees.

With Terrance Jones emerging into a good role player, I believe that the weakest position is now our PG lineup and our weak bench.

 

I don't think Lowery would play for the Rockets and Mchale again.

 

But isn't McHale's contract up at the end of the year?

If Lowry was here, Beverley would DEFINITELY come off the bench. It's not even in question.

Lowry is as good of a defender as Bev (or very close) and is twice as good of an offensive player.

I'd easily take Lowry back in the right deal, I just don't understand why Toronto would deal him unless he's netting premium value in return.

Toronto would be hosting a home playoff game if the playoffs started today. Lowry is their best player.

It doesn't add up.
