That sounds like a lot for Rondo. You thought Lin is awkward fitting in next to Harden? Rondo will be that plus a gigantic ego.
But Lin and Asik in Boston would be interesting. They're a young team, and Lin has some history with the city, considering his Hahvahd roots.
Depends on who would be packaged with Rondo. He makes about 12, Asik and Lin make...17? (For cap purposes.) Although I wonder if the website is just trying to get traffic / clicks.
The trade wouldn't work out anyways. The Celtics would have to put in another player besides Rondo for that to work out.
I don't think Rondo is worth two picks regardless of the other player included. If this trade goes down, I think Morey must be in a tight spot with Assik. The Rockets don't need a "third star", not yet, what they need is to unload some dead weight and to shore up their bench, while not killing their cap. Rondo seems to me to be an over reaction, but the real reason why Morey isn't coughing up two picks for Rondo is that he needs to hold on to them for the possibility of acquiring Love, and Minny would much rather have a 2014 and 2016 pick than Rondo, so there you go.

rondo is a better trade chip than asik+lin. do the deal for that asset in the offseason or next season.
